I saw this earlier.

We've reached the part of this whole mess where "Conservatives" or what's left of the Republican Party appear to be morphing into a dangerous cult of bloody-minded fanatics. They don't care that they're perilously close to ending up on the literal wrong side of Biblical Prophecy. Just so they get to kill a few LGBT people and women (Because $10 says they will absolutely not "just" go after Transgender people) before they die and are cast into the Lake Of Fire by their own irate judgmental Lord and Savior.

Think about that for a second. 

Yes, I really do believe these people are that cruel and hateful.

But they think they'll rule in hell, or some shit.

And these fucking people are mad as a motherfucker that they can't just plot their genocidal pogroms right in the open as Federal government policy.

People keep bringing up Christian Nationalism and/or Fascism.

And yes, those are definitely contributing factors (and might even be things these motherfuckers try to claim if they get the power that they want, somewhere. 

But I think, in actual terms, we're past that kind of crap. 

It's worse.

And I told you they'd get here.

We're looking at the actuality of those fucked up ideologies receding in the cracked and broken rearview-mirror as the banged-up truck of these people's ideology clatters down the highway, shedding loose parts, while they look for some weak point in the walls of reality that they can try and smash though like the T-1000 driving the tilt-cab heavy wrecker in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Russia is doing their damnedest to criminalize even the idea of peace.

Again, think about that for a second. I'm not asking. Stop and do it.

These fucking people are celebrating the idea of genocide and murder, of pogroms against Transgender people, which they'll straight up lie to try and gin up.

They could give a good goddamn about the six people that died. Six people's deaths is a tragedy.

They're absolutely betting on six million (or more) deaths being a fucking statistic.

It's the cult of Dis Pater at work. Death and wealth, and on their own side of the political aisle, at least, this bullshit has pretty much gutted Christianity out and crawled inside it like Han Solo gutting the Tauntaun in The Empire Strikes Back.

Shit, they've been making a deliberate play to associate guns with symbols of Christianity and "Masculinity."

Because certain elements of Christianity never got over the Roman fertility cults and veneration of the Phallus.

These people are doing the philosophical and religious equivalent of drawing dicks on the walls of Plato's Cave and they think they're painting the ceiling of the goddamned Sistine Chapel.

With Dicks.

But at the same time, how many of these fuckers either got too small a package or they just can't get it up?

And they're absolutely expecting that crap to be celebrated once they cast aside all claims of allegiance to the Man From Galilee and emerge into the bright light of day.

And don't think they won't betray anyone and everyone if they think it'll get them their murderous little dystopia somewhere.

Like I said, these alleged "Conservatives" and "Christians" are perilously close to switching sides in their own claimed eternal Cold War just like they did in terms of the New Cold War vs. the old Cold War.

You think, in light of the fact that Israeli society just told Bibi Netanyahu to go fuck himself and stopped his proposed plan to wreck the Israeli courts to protect himself...that these sons of bitches wouldn't follow some twisted inversion of their own goddamned End Times narrative and try to "punish" the Israeli people for "Rejecting" the far-right? 

The Christless Christianity we saw on display in Waco last weekend absolutely provides a narrative to do anything of the sort that they want. All it takes is enough nuts trying to claim that Trump (or some possible successor later on) is some kind of a god.

They're essentially making LGBT people, "Liberals" i.e. basically meaning anybody, including conservatives, who won't bend the knee to their chthonic cult and women who won't be their Botox-ed Stepford Sex Toys the "Devils" of their new religious movement.

And make no fucking mistake about it. That's exactly what this shit is very rapidly turning into since Trump's bullshit claims that he was about to get arrested last week.

I realize the cult-like Trump-worship has been a thing since the motherfucker slithered down that golden escalator but Trump's self-Autos-Da Fe...The Crucifixion That Wasn't...seems to have made it worse.

Now these fucking people want to use this Something-That-Wasn't and a few deaths that they don't care about anyway as justification for some kind of a new Crusade.

And the edge-case Trad-Catholic religious nuts who seem to be replacing...if not cannibalizing...the Evangelicals and Fundamentalists of previous times have already been coming right out and saying exactly that for awhile.

And such will continue to be aimed domestically at the rest of the West until they either are beaten down to the point where they crawl back under their rocks or they succeed.

When they realize that the Russian Orthodox people aren't going to give up Russian Orthodoxy and join them...and indeed expect the exact opposite, that in Russkiy Mir the Neo-Crusaders must join up with them and give up being Western...that Russia itself thinks it's going to be some kind of Third Rome...I strongly suspect there's going to be problems.

One of these things is not like the other one. I'm not sure how these fucking people are too dumb to see that. Such things generally end in destruction and war.

You can either tolerate this horseshit and end up living in or having to fight back against these fucking people's dystopian Idiocracy on worse terms, or you can stand up and fight and stop it now.

But that means you have to draw a line in the sand and say "No More," Civis Americanus Sum. We don't do that kind of shit here.

And you're going to have to.

Because the alternative is an Antichristian-Nationalist political religion that seeks to eliminate the possibility of anything other than itself and perpetuating itself.
