I've been holding back since I saw on Friday or so that Trump might get arrested today. 

I'm not sure whether or not he will be, but the key point to note is he's sure spent the whole weekend and of course Monday freaking out about it. He sure thinks something bad (for him) is about to happen.

But it's not just him.

The MAGA's and the rest of the "Trump is God" crowd are clearly the same way.

The skeevy grifters like Roger Stone are either A) hoping this is all bullshit and/or that it blows over.

B) They're hoping like a motherfucker that they can find some way to make money off Trump getting arrested or to get political props off of it.

Or:

C) These people are desperately trying to set up an "I FOUND THE LORD!" defense/rationalization/future grift for Trump, which they can also get in on later.

As if nearly every famous person (and many, many not-famous people) who go to jail or get indicted don't do exactly that to the point where it's basically an expectation.

Not least because religious observance generally means that they'll get more time out of their cells (Which, to be fair, is the real reason most people do this.)

And I very much doubt that there would be any Chuck Colson levels of repentance or efforts to make amends or make things a little better for other people still behind bars when he gets out that'd be involved here. Sorry, but I just don't. Trump ain't gonna found no Prison Fellowship Ministries.

It's all bullshit. I frankly don't believe that most of these people who actually have a brain in their heads believe a word of it. No, they outsource the "True Believer" status to the idiots like Hoebert and MTG that come up from the base directly.

But it's not like FOX News themselves didn't just massively prove my point here, just a couple weeks ago.

And it's not like the FOX News crowd doesn't do things, on a constant basis, that literally show to anybody with eyes to see and minds to think, that they have nothing but rabid contempt for their own voter base.

The trouble is, the Base seems to see this and thinks "Insult and objectify me and steal from me more, Daddy!" 

LBJ had it right. Feed these fucking people's petty hatreds and they'll debase and objectify themselves and allow themselves to be stolen from, willfully, as if it proves something for them to be complete chumps.

So long as the con men and thieves share some of their repugnant political, racial and social beliefs.

And the trouble is, the goddamn Republicans know it.

The majority of the racist MAGA base is so goddamned desperate to be at the top of some bullshit racial hierarchy that they don't give a shit if they have anything else.

It's all they want or understand.

You can't reason with that. You can only beat it down, enforce laws and social customs against it, drive it back under rocks and educate children that this is not the way.

These fucking people don't want to live in a society...unless the basis of that society is bondage and slavery for other people. Think about that, for a second.

Would you want to live in that kind of a world? Really?

And what if I told you that no matter what you think, no matter how highly you think of yourself, you are not going to be one of the "Chosen Ones" in this situation.

You're just going to be another bitch, white boy, strapped to the back of the truck for when the local warlord gets a hard-on.

What? You think there's going to be women (much less attractive women) available?

Not for you or most of the other wannabe-fash, there won't be.

Hell, these fucking morons don't even care if they're in chains, so long as they're some kind of "better" class of slaves than some of the other slaves.

Relative status, however, does not a civilization make.

White Male Supremacy sure as hell does not make a civilization.

Hell, they want to blow up the world-as-it-is because they think that will give them more power.

Their personal social status and percentage of the wealth is more important.

These assholes do not even care if other people have food to eat.

They think they'll be the kings and lords in their castles, with harems of women and swarms of muscle-y bodyguards and they'll have all the guns and the wealth while the rest of us are the serfs in the fields, dependent on their goodwill for whether we live or die.

They told on themselves when they embraced the ideal of Russian imperialism while rejecting Americanism as it has historically existed.

In case you're wondering, this is the literal antithesis of traditional conservatism of any sort. 

And I'll note that when you take the belief in White male Supremacy out of Christian conservatism you end up with something almost completely different from this...but there are way too few of those people, at least in America anyway...and Republicans/MAGA's will usually turn around and tag them as some sort of "liberal" no matter what.

And it doesn't matter what you do, or what you ever did.

And note I say that as a United States Air Force veteran who was a conservative and a Republican when I served, in Bill Clinton's America.

But that doesn't matter to these assholes. Putting country over party and politics isn't even something they can imagine.

And they think everybody else is secretly the same as they are.

Because hierarchy and racism and them having while others do not literally is what "Conservatism" means to these absolute motherfuckers.

And they've literally been sozzled into believing that other people want this by confirmation bias, echo chambers and over 60 years of Ayn Rand's atheistic objectivist propaganda repeated ad nauseum among themselves even though the bitch has been dead for forty years and was officially replaced as Republican Jesus first by Donald Trump and then by Vladimir Putin.

If you...like me...have been disgusted by these assholes showing nothing but contempt for the Ukrainians who are fighting for their own freedom and right to exist, as individual people, as a culture and as a nation...well these assholes equally despise any American who ever fought for or served to defend those same values and they've become stunningly open about it lately.

I mean, fuck. Apparently, they despise any American who doesn't wanna get literally raped by Nazis.

Because America as it is does not and did not and Constitutionally could not ever...even during the worst of the Trump years...please their dicks or reward them for their selfishness enough.

And they forget that historically, nations run like that tend to be torn down by bloody revolution even when the populace spends hundreds of years having been reduced to peasantry and serfdom. People get tired of it and then somebody gets guillotined or lined up against a wall and shot.

But oh no, it could never happen to them, they're special.

No, you're fucking not.

And Trump is pretty much calling anybody who isn't swarming out of the woodwork to defend his ass right now "COMMUNISTS, RINO'S AND TRAITORS!"

He's literally trying to demand that the NYPD revolt in his name.

They won't. They seem to be preparing for crazy shit like everybody else is, because most of them know where their paychecks, etc. come from and what their actual job is.

And they'll be vilified for it by these fucking people who want to pull down the world in the name of Donald Trump and White Supremacy the same way as everybody else.

The thing is, in Donald Trump's mind there's only one "True American" or even real person, and that's him. I really don't doubt that by now Donald Trump thinks he's Jesus Christ.

And there's a whole bunch of fools who think they're going to get to heaven by feeding the goddamn narcissist, because he tells them the shit they wanna hear.

For that, these goddamned sons of bitches would tear down the Cross of Christ, raise the Hammer and Sickle in its place, and build a Trump Tower Jerusalem atop Golgotha at the end of the Via Dolorosa.

There's a movement among Evangelicals that says Trump will cause the End Times. Yep, they're basically saying he's the Antichrist. And demanding the world follow him.

Having been a member of the End Times Prophecy movement, yo, I think that makes y'all the bad guys. If I recall correctly, that's what the followers of the Beast do. I've read Revelation. This won't work out the way you think it will.

But motherfuckers wanna believe. He's gotta be god, he's just gotta!

How's that worked out so far?

Never mind that you could pour the whole goddamned world down that hole where Donald Trump's soul is supposed to have been, and it would never be enough. 

You can't lock up that motherfucker soon enough for me.

Just be aware that when you do, some grifter is gonna market necklaces with little jail cell doors on them and treat wherever Trump gets perp-walked as if it's the new Stations Of The Cross.
