On the heels of what they apparently think is a resounding success (the as-far-as-I-know-still ongoing "trucker" protest in Ottawa which was not organized by actual truckers) these idiots are looking to try that shit here.
And by "Resounding success" I mean "Everyone hates them, they've worn out their welcome, and companies are now apparently firing drivers who are involved and sending people out to get trucks back."
But of course, none of that seems to register here.
Well, it's about to in a big way if these jackoffs try and disrupt the goddamn Super Bowl.
I mean, dude, have these fuckers ever met Football fans? Disrupt the biggest game of the year and you're almost certainly going to be eating knuckle sandwiches that you didn't order for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of your miserable pecker-sucking life.
Oh yeah, sure, go ahead, I double dog dare you fuckers. Who's the one wants to be known as that guy for-basically-ever?
There's eventually going to be consequences for turning "Conservatism" into less a political philosophy and more of a "Lifestyle Brand For Assholes."
Not to mention, if you idiots think you're going to get anywhere near the Capitol building with this shit, you have another thing coming.
And people have been trying to organize some kind of "trucker protest" in Washington D.C. all the way back to the Obama years...and its never gone anywhere.
Mostly because when people got a quarter-million dollar truck note they got to keep paid up and/or a schedule to keep (and not to mention, a lot of these people get paid by the mile) it just doesn't work that way. A lot of truckers just don't have time for political shenanigans beyond listening to whoever on Sirius XM while they're working.
We have a real problem in this country.
And I'm not just talking about far-right idiots who are too goddamn dumb to boil water trying to fuck up literally everything because their cockamamie political, religious and social beliefs. I mean, that is a big part of it, but it's not quite the entire problem.
A bigger issue, feeding into all this stupid shit, is the longtime promotion of fanaticism for its own sake, which I think is purely a symptom of the United States being a fairly emotionally-immature nation. We like to double down infinitely on shit, personal selfishness, political radicalism, profit-seeking...And there's never any care...or note taken of...the consequences of this.
And a hell of a lot of Republican politicians and Wall Street guys never seem to ask themselves just why they snort so much cocaine, either. I on the other hand was taught that if you're going way overboard on alcohol or drugs...or a lot of other things too...it's a sure sign that you're not happy with your own life and something's wrong.
Certainly, a lot of the stupid "Conservative" political bullshit I keep seeing is either drugs or straight up untreated mental illness, or possibly some combination of the two.
But it's not just that...
I've been feeling, for awhile, like something bad is about to happen...much like I did during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. And by "Something bad" I mean a quarter of this country seems hell bent on some combination of going full Jonestown and trying to reenact The Purge.
I don't even want to consider what the death toll of some kind of Trumptown mass suicide might be...
Although, I seriously think we're looking at people who, when faced with any kind of combat would not know whether to grab their penises or their rifles and because in a lot of cases these fucking idiots don't seem to know the difference, a hell of a lot of these dudes will probably go charging into battle with their pants around their ankles and their hands on their hands on their cocks...which is going to make for some short, embarrassing engagements until these fuckers snap out of whatever kind of mental shit they've worked themselves into.
Plus, the Army or the cops are very unlikely to be intimidated by three inch guns, if you catch my drift.
Again, because of endless fear of everything, latent fascism, stupid fanaticism for the sake of stupid fanaticism and too many people literally being too dumb to think "Oh, hey, it's just a movie. Things don't work that way in real life." Of course, too many people just aren't thinking at all and simply want permission to act out their worst possible impulses.
And it doesn't help that people like Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, and Rush Limbaugh turned the Right into an Attention-based economy...which is another thing that's a problem because to hold the attention of the roaring mob, people have to keep doubling down and edge-lording with outlandish behavior of they want to keep the money rolling in.
The money people have sown the wind, with the full intention and hope that they'll make a lot of money from reaping the whirlwind.
Maybe it's just me, but that by itself doesn't seem sustainable.
With or without the fact that there seems to be some kind of a crack-up going on with the Republican Party. We need to stop this shit before a lot of people get hurt or killed and that is not a goddamn joke.
We The People need to get a hold of ourselves, or we're not going to continue to have civilization, much less America. We need to pull back before we're torn apart by this Event Horizon of Stupid.
And we need to stop listening to people with a yellow streak down they back who stir shit up and run away whenever anything happens, like Ted Cruz.
Cause I guarantee you when the shit hits the fan these fuckers ain't going to be brave, they gonna be trying to conceal that yellow streak down the inside of they pant-legs and the puddle on the floor.
