Blood Is All One Colour (Part II.)

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;

He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:
His truth is marching on.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

~The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, by Julia Ward Howe.

Marjorie Taylor Greene says an intra-party GOP civil war is necessary.

Didn't I just say something about this? Hello?

I've been saying for years that these fucking people would start with those closest to them, on their own side, and then move on to attacking the rest of us.

And Marge just comes right out and says it.

So there you have it, one of the main people who's been setting the tone for the last year-and-change is calling for exactly that. I'm sure it will be less "Night of the Long Knives" and more "Night of the large rubber dildos" but there you have it, and it'll be official Republican Party policy before too long.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps.
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:
His day is marching on.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

~The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, by Julia Ward Howe.

And again, after months of denial and offense, suddenly Republicans are in full "Cover Your Ass" mode about the 1/6 insurrection, and condemning the RNC Censure of Cheney and Kinzinger, which does seem to have backfired rather badly. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish or who they wanted to impress but I'm going to go out on not-much-of-a-limb and say this ain't it.

Hell, Kevin McCarthy damned near ran away from reporters at the Capitol today and I guess there was an altercation between some idiot Republican House Rep and a member of the Congressional Black Caucus today too, over mask issues.

The idiot media and of course, idiot Republicans, keep saying that Republicans are "Winning" but ya know, from what I can see, it sure doesn't look that way to me.

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal";
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,
Since God is marching on.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

~The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, by Julia Ward Howe.

Between the stupid shit going on in Canada, the tensions in Ukraine and various Republicans acting like the gig is up, it feels like something serious...likely something bad...is about to happen.

And, lest you think the same shit that animates this bullshit down here on the American side is not present in Canada...well here's Fox News quoting one of these Trucker Fuckers saying he's "Not racist" because he has "Colored friends."

You know, all the way back to the 1990's or so I've been given to understand that referring to a Black person as "Colored" (allowing for some degree of linguistic drift here, yes, but we ain't in South Africa and Fox News is an American network) is generally at best considered outdated and at worst considered racist. I didn't know people talked like that anymore. Shit, last I even heard that word was from some old English guy that I worked with a couple times at my old job. This was like 15 years ago. He didn't mean anything by it, he was just older than the hills and...here's the important thing...once corrected on that by an African-American co-worker, he didn't say it again.

I'm guessing, though, that with Fox News and this guy, that won't be the case.

And obviously, calling these fucking people racist is clearly having some sort of an effect because the fact that they're being called racist is damn near all these people talk about lately, they're obsessed with the subject, and with trying to camouflage or talk around their racism or to try and set up some kind of "Color-Blind" viewpoint and then manipulate us all into buying into it.

But if you're ignoring or pretending to ignore somebody's color or ethnicity or whatever...isn't that just another form of annihilation? You can't tell me the people who are freaking out over the least little bit of difference from themselves, these days, legitimately don't see this stuff.

They just want to studiously ignore it, sweep it under the rug so they can perpetuate the problem in private and keep it alive for when some political leader says it's Okay again. That's all.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Our God is marching on.

~The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, by Julia Ward Howe.

Like I keep saying, these fucking people can't wait to tell on themselves.

When somebody's taking the time to hand-write and tape up an objection to somebody else's car sticker that advocates peaceful coexistence between different faiths and different kinds of people, well I don't know about you, but I think that sends a pretty clear message. It tells us exactly what this person's priorities are, and more to the point, it tells us what they think the purpose of Christianity even is. Heaven isn't heaven if everybody gets to go.

What gets me is how small of a box these sons of bitches think they can jam an infinite, indescribable God into, and then they have the balls to think we're the ones who are deluded and wrong and going to hell?

There would be no point for this motherfucker if they didn't think they were going to get to spend eternity getting off on the idea of people they don't like being punished...well, for being people that they don't like.

And these assholes view America the same way.

When you spend your life thinking like that, it seems to me that an afterlife of hellfire would be redundant.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me.
As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,

While God is marching on.

Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Our God is marching on.

~The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, by Julia Ward Howe.

You see, people like Mike Huckabee, they don't want to be transfigured. They already see themselves as the Perfected Man.

And you can see the results of that crap for yourself.

It's not just that Mike thinks God is dumber than he is, he thinks the rest of us don't have eyes.

Well, we do, Mike. We do.

And we see you.

And, lest you think it's just us "Leftists" and non-Christians that see this garbage, my bro "Treason and Coconuts" who's calling out Mike here, identifies as both a conservative and a Spirit-filled Christian.

That right there is what people like Marge Green and Mike Huckabee and Mitch McConnell are afraid of. And they see a time coming where they might have to face the voters getting a legit choice and knowing what's up, rather than being bamboozled by all this bullshit and the elected officials effectively choosing their voters through Gerrymandering.

They see the end as clearly as the rest of us do. Oh yes, they do. Why else do you think these fucking people look to foreign despots like Vladimir Putin for aid and money and protection?

Why the hell do you think these motherfuckers really want to burn the world?

And why else would you think, that when war comes, these fucking people will side with the enemies of America?

Watch and see, but I think that's how it's going to go down.

Be nice if these far-right sons of bitches would just be honest and admit they hate America. And you know, the only thing I'm more tired of than that, is the fact that people let these assholes keep lying about it.

But here's the thing, if you don't believe in democracy and freedom for all of us...well, you don't believe in democracy or freedom.

And we see you.

Blood that has soaked into the sands of a beach is all of one color. America stands unique in the world: the only country not founded on race but on a way, an ideal. Not in spite of but because of our polyglot background, we have had all the strength in the world. That is the American way. ~Ronald Reagan
