I've already written about Sarah. Among Other Things. That ain't the point.

But I'm here to tell you, she was where all this crazy bullshit started. 

Sarah Palin was the goddamned Gateway Drug and once they got a taste of her, they needed bigger and bigger hits of The Crazy to get the same high.

The Tea Party, Donald Fucking Trump, mainlining Vladimir Putin and prostrating themselves before the Hammer and Sickle and Lenin's stuffed corpse. Dread Cthulhu only knows what's next, but it all started with Sarah Palin.

Why do I say that? Because she was what brought the Pentecostals and the Prosperity Gospel liars into the GOP coalition as reliable voters. (Trust me, they were there, but a lot of them didn't vote before.)

Being the Village Idiot simply wasn't cool before 2008.

And now we got motherfuckers trying to say that Christians should strap bombs to their chests.

Neither Suicide being considered a Sin nor "Thou Shalt Not Kill" at all, could be reached for comment.

But, I mean, what the hell does that Jesus guy know, anyway?

At least as far as the "Christians" are concerned.

They think they're going to do it their way, as if that hasn't ended in horror every time it's been tried?

And damned near anything can set these fucking people off.

They seem to very much want a world based on their fear and hatred of...basically everything.

They have no concept of "If you don't like it, don't buy it, partake of it, or play it."

These fucking people think the whole damn world should just be a reflection of...themselves...with such other people as are necessary for existence cowering in submission before themselves. I'll never fucking understand it. I guess I just wasn't taught that way.

Like, seriously, Other People Exist...why is this hard??

Other People have their own beliefs, conduct, preferences etc. And that is none of your goddamned business. You're not God, you're not some Avatar of the Universe. You didn't create those people.

The whole goddamn world doesn't owe it to you to show you only what you want to see, and you can resent that all you like. The rest of the world simply does not have to care.

Nobody owes you jack shit. Go out and make your way. Earn the respect that'll get people to listen to you.

I was taught this by conservatives.

But too many people have been convinced that they're some kind of important big deal by internet algorithms, religion and sociopathic hucksters. And since, for the most part, they never see anybody else because modern "Conservatism" has chased everybody else out. Trust me, I know, I was there. I was one of the people who got driven out by proto-CHUD's on internet forums and by people like Sarah Palin.

These nuts think themselves representative of "Normal" people. Even though they're basically being egged on and jacked off repeatedly by capitalist shitheads and narcissistic politicians trying on the one hand to get more attention and money out of them...and on the other hand to use them as shock troops for agendas. 

Even though the truth is all they are is a relatively small group of bigots and fanatics.

And if we don't step up and stop this bullshit now, it'll never stop because these motherfuckers aren't going to stop until they've burned down Civilization and live as a tribe of cannibal savages dancing around a fire shouting "Unga Bunga" while they wait for the Witch Doctor to show up to bless their forthcoming raids against the remains of the Before Times or those people trying to resurrect a functional world.

Motherfucking Michael Knowles picket 1220 as some kind of ideally "Conservative" anti-modern time frame. But the Magna Carta...which held that kings and governments were not above the laws of nations...became law in England five years before that. 

Modernity Wins, Again.

Ancient Greece and Rome had plenty of Bisexual and Gay people, even the occasional person that might today be considered Transgender. There is no time in history that matches these fucking people's "Ideals" of some kind of patriarchal hard-right "Conservatism" or fascism or any such damn thing. 

These people are fucking stupid, and what they think of as "Modern Ideology" for the most part is...stuff that's always been around.

And the thing is, sooner or later these fucking people are going to get tired of being defeated by their own arrogance and stupidity, getting their asses whupped by the rest of us, and repeatedly being pantsed by reality and they're going to just resort to mass, probably very disorganized, violence.

Or they're going to all finally get pointed in the same direction by some "Strongman" and get massacred in human-wave assaults against modern armies like the Russians are doing in Ukraine.

They'll be mad when they lose the Woke Wars, too.

And it all started with some idiot Senator legitimizing insanity, religiosity, and stupidity. (And no, at this point he simply doesn't deserve to be remembered for anything else.)

Remember that.
