Likewise, pre-revolution Cuba wasn't exactly a great place for most Cubans to live in, since it was for the most part ruled by landowners who treated their farm laborers as little better than slaves. Cuba's leaders and their governments tended to be little more than appendages of that ruling class. American influence, particularly over casinos, prostitution and the tourist trade, was dominated by the (American) corporations and the Mafia and that didn't stop until the Communists stopped it. Think about that for a second.
Despite strong labor unions and such, including for agricultural workers, most Cubans outside of the cities were poor and lived in bad conditions. Their government was also mostly a kiss-ass to American Power.
Even today Cuba is safe, orderly, things are better for a lot of people...but it's not free.

I'm serious, if you think about it, honestly there's very few of these internet-famous Republicans like Lauren Blowbert or MTG that meet the Medieval gender-norms these anti-trans idiots want.
Also, like 90% of this "Trad-Wife" BS seems to be an internet-scam. I'm serious, nobody changes their clothes that many times while cooking, and if some dude is really letting his "Trad Wife" shake her tits for like 6,000 CHUD's on Instagram or some shit, that's hardly...traditional.
For the record, this tracks with my personal experience all the way back to a sergeant that I had in the Air Force before I became an NCO myself. I literally encountered this guy cruising for ass at a southern Michigan rest area in the middle of the night when I stopped to take a piss.

And the thing that gets me, is that there's still so many fucking people lining up to make that trade (Up to and including people like Black far-Leftist Cornel West) just because they think they'll somehow get one over on the rest of us or "Burn the system to the ground" like that wouldn't hurt a bunch of people.
By the way...I'M one of those people, dependent on government benefits that I earned with military service and paid taxes for and literally pay for now. My health care is cheap, but it ain't free. My Veteran's benefits and my Mom's Social Security are literally things Republicans have said they want to cut or even eliminate altogether.
How am I supposed to live like that? How are Black or Latino or LGBT or even most White people supposed to live like that??
Anybody tells you anything else is either a fool, a liar or a Republican...but I repeat myself.
