I saw this a couple days ago.

Some Pentecostal nut saying that "Masturbation Is Witchcraft" and that "Controlling your own pleasure" is a sin. I (unfortunately) know this type of crazy, hyper-religious manipulative bitch pretty well...in the Biblical sense.

Ten bucks says she likes to be on top, because it's not "Controlling her own pleasure" when she does it her way, and these kind of women tend to put the freak in "Control Freak." 

It can be fun, but it's not worth it when you have to buy a couple more guns, move a couple times, change the locks on your doors and nuke your entire online footprint to get away from the Fatal Attraction psycho-bitch. 

And we wonder why the Republican Party is losing its mind?? 

If you wonder why "Outgoing Michigan Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey is now railing on the World Economic Forum, climate change, gun control, child sacrifice and "trans-whatever." There is a push, he claims, for "one-world governance... the elimination of sovereignty" is the kind of headline that nobody bats an eye at anymore, that's why.

Because people who believe in "Witchcraft" are a large majority of the Party's voter base now.

Seriously if you'd have said something like that in public in 1996 people would've looked at you like you was nuts.

I'm here to tell you These Fucking People started to take over, under the radar, 20 years ago. Now? They've run almost all of the other Republicans out.

Last weekend there was an attack, apparently by religious nuts, on a power station in Moore County, NC. This knocked out power for almost the entire county and for over 40,000 people. The alleged ringleader was an Army veteran who resigned because she was being investigated for involvement in the January 6th insurrection.

This was allegedly to knock out the power to stop a local drag show. (Spoiler: The attack failed at that. The show went on.)

These fucking people are just fine with the "elimination of  sovereignty" as long as it's yours that gets eliminated.

Tens of thousands of people have had their lives seriously disrupted because of a bunch of goddamned nuts. At least one person died because medical equipment that they depended on to be alive stopped working when the power went out.

I'm here to tell you that the goddamned nuts don't care about any of that. They want to blow shit up and then claim that it's "God" who's "Chastising" the people in Moore County.

It's all nothing but manipulative horse shit, playing with people's emotions for power and control. 

Things like the "Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces" are exactly these fucking people's idea of religion.

Hell, things like conflicts and wars are what these assholes think government and religion are for.

And don't worry, if these fucking people win somewhere...the "Christian Influencer" gets to be on top...in more ways than one...and she gets off on the entire concept, literally. With these kind of people, it's not out of bounds to say the lines blur between religion and sexuality.

Power and submission are as much a sexual thing as they are anything else in these people's totalitarian worldview. There's plenty of men out there who derive sexual satisfaction from submission to somebody like Donald Trump. No, I can't make it make sense.

But what these people are telling us now, is that they don't want Trump anymore. He didn't...couldn't...go far enough. Trump wasn't "Christian" enough.

America, as currently constructed, Constitutionally, legally and socially cannot satisfy these people's weird lusts and religiosities. 

They want a society that's ruled by cabals and conspiracies and "Influencers" both public and secret, where most of the "politics" is a dog-and-pony-show, a constant Rat-fucking Olympics that's designed not for governance, but to distract from what's really going on.

After the attack, the alleged ringleader went on Facebook and bragged that she knew why the power was out. When the cops (I guess, including the local sheriff, the old white guy who's completely snowed under by her bullshit if I had to guess) showed up, he "prayed with her" and that makes everything Okay or something something Gazpacho.

Dude, I feel bad for anybody who was under the command of this bitch in the Army, or for that matter the entire rest of the chain of command.

All these people really care about is the exercise of and submission to Power. It's not about Jesus, it's not about the Word, those things are just distractions, boxes they have to check to meet the qualifications for what's really going on.

And they're willing to fight wars against the rest of us and try destroy America to get their Machiavellian little world.

We're coming up on Christmas, and you know, I can't help but wonder how many people in Moore County have already had their holiday season wrecked by this attack?

More to the point, I know from personal experience that the goddamned fanatics don't care. 

"Fascism" doesn't even begin to cover it with these fucking people. Deep down, they know it's all shit. But they think they can bullshit God. It's actually worse than that, though. They don't really care, in the end, if they are told to depart into everlasting fire in an afterlife they don't really believe in.

These fucking people? They want to be gods now.

Their entire religion, in reality, is endorphins and power trips. When it stops feeling 'good' they usually stop believing in it and/or turn to drugs and shit to replace that high.

Some idiot hired a plane to fly over Jacksonville, Florida, with a Confederate Flag banner. Apparently, again.

Something something blah blah insulting the mayor or some shit.

I don't know why, and I don't care.

Fuck anybody who thinks the Confederate Flag is anything more than a banner for the cause of racism, or a symbol of the human bondage of Slavery, or of an Army that took free people and sold them into slavery for a profit.

The goddamned slavers routinely broke up families and raped children and women, and every goddamned day they exploited the unpaid labor of Black Slaves to reap stupendous profits and wealth for themselves. The entire goddamned system even grossly undervalued the labor of White workers.

Trump is demanding that he be installed as President and the Constitution, along with any laws or regulations he doesn't like, be "terminated."

And all this over the nonexistent Hunter Biden dick pic scandal...where then-private entities simply asked a privately-owned, corporate microblogging website to enforce their own Terms Of Service?

The First Amendment was never in play here.

Trump is not a conservative, in any way, shape, or form. Do you get it now?? 

But he sure has dragged a lot of Republicans down to his level with him.

At its absolute lightest, that's 41 pounds of weapon burning through a whole shitload of 7.62mm ammunition with a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet-per-second. King Kong couldn't shoot that shit without it being on some kind of a mounting! And Trump is just an old, out-of-shape fat guy. There's nothing really wrong with that. He's just not that guy that they keep trying to convince themselves he is.

Hell, he doesn't make any effort to claim he is, beyond generically claiming to know more about everything than anybody else.

And that doesn't even take into account Trump's demonstrable, public lack of basic intelligence or his atrocious personal conduct or his tendency to stick a knife in somebody else's back for any or no reason without warning.

"The Cruelty Is The Point" is not a way you can run a civilization. Not only that, but I have to say I've never known a Cruelty Is The Point person who was cool with the cruelty when it started being used on them.

Republicans, Trump is going to burn your shit down and you'll find that you've left yourselves with little to no defense against it.

If Trump would burn down the peaceful transfer of power, if he'd burn down the Constitution...he'd burn down America and he'd sure as hell burn down the Republican Party. Listen up, Republicans. We're coming up on the holidays and the changing of the seasons, and soon enough, a new year.

You can choose, and start again. It's even symbolically a good time of the year for it.

But that's also going to require taking a stand, drawing a line in the sand and sticking to it. It's likely to require removing yourselves from the situation and it might even require voting for the other team for awhile and then starting over a few election cycles down the road.

And yes, it's going to require going back to the traditional Republican understanding that the Russians in general and people like Vladimir Putin in particular are the enemy.

Because that's what it's going to take not to be a pawn, or be used.

As somebody who had to cut a loved one with a personality disorder out of my life just to save my own damn sanity, I can't put it any more simply than this:

Republicans, if you don't cut Trump loose, or at least extricate yourselves individually from the situation, he's going to destroy you.

You know, I don't think anybody disputes that Hunter Biden is a dumbass. I don't think even he would argue otherwise at this point. But being a dumbass isn't illegal and he doesn't work for the government. 

More to the point, all these contacts and requests between private citizens and private entities aren't Unconstitutional. Not a one of the people in question worked in government at the time.

As if disease or starvation or the guns of your fellow "Kings" wouldn't solve the problem of them long before some sort of international or liberal democratic military forces swept in to restore order as peacekeepers. And peacekeeping sucks. As an Air Force Security Policeman I spent a few months doing exactly that in Bosnia.

You know what all these far-right "Western Civilization" guys amount to once they're mostly disarmed and facing people who will punch back, much less superior firepower?

Weak men shouting unintelligible slurs at you while they're falling-down drunk in the middle of the street, still in their mismatched fatigues and combat boots, as if it all ever meant anything.

And then when a bunch of heavily-armed American, UN or NATO soldiers and some German, Irish or Senegalese cops show up to arrest they ass for public drunkenness or ya know, war crimes?

I saw this earlier today.

It's worth noting, I think, that the Mario Kart games have been around since 1992. I think the most recent one dropped in early 2020? Either way, the games predate all this right-wing hysteria about all the "Woke" stuff.

Needs to be said, this isn't a thing that people are really 'concerned' about. It's just a different vehicle for the same old bigotry, a rhetorical tactic designed to camouflage the same old hate, and to make it sound like being anti-racist or supporting LGBT rights...or even having Black characters in a TV show or using things that are also symbols of LGBT pride or women's rights or whatever even in completely unrelated fashion...is somehow bad or conspiratorial.

And they tell on themselves when they apply this "filter" I'd guess you could call it, to everything, even things like the Mario Kart games or old movies that were there first.

That shit is no more legitimate than White people regarding Latinos or Native Americans as "invaders" and for the same reason. They or at least some of their ancestors were here before you and yours.

It's the same shit as Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians or racist "Conservatives" thinking their current social mores were the reality of the ancient world, and it's bullshit, easily provable to be bullshit, at that. And their next move...actually, to a great extent conservatives are there already...is to resent the fuck out of Capitalism and try to undermine it. I mean, they're already coming right out and saying "How Dare that economic system need Black people/LGBT folk/Etc.'s...Money."

They're seriously mad that Capitalism isn't "just for" upper-class white people who are a certain kind of Christian (Mostly Calvinist/Reformed Theology with a Christian Nationalist bent who are involved in destructive/extractive industries) with a disproportionate share of the wealth going to Old White Men and their lackeys.

In other words, literally genetically Elon Musk fits right in, all he has to do to be in the club is mumble something about Jesus now and again.

It may seem crazy...but none of this is really mental illness...it's just hate. Whatever's wrong with Elon or Kanye or Trump functionally exists as a comorbidity with their Hate virus and/or addiction. There's a reason I say Donald Trump acts like a drug dealer and that he openly idolizes the mafia.

And plenty of White dudes are willing to be foot soldiers for this, just because hate makes them feel powerful and tough, because for them hate is every bit as much of an addiction as Opioids.

And if you don't think these people would happily use an out-of-touch but techy moron who (at least) agrees with some of their bullshit to put computer chips in people's heads and enforce their bullshit on the world that way, you have another thing coming.

You ain't got to be thrilled with or like Joe Biden, but he has the right answer here, to point out that Hitler was demonic and the Holocaust happened and that this bullshit needs to be called out.

That no matter how inoffensive or politically correct or put-upon the haters and the racists try to make this shit sound, no matter how much they try to dress up their bullshit as some avant-garde revolutionary thing, it's still the same old bullshit and hate and lies.

But identifying and naming the problem is just the first step.

I'm old enough to remember when conservatives understood this shit, and if anything saw it more as a threat than liberals and others might...because it was already in the house via the Far-right and was a direct threat to their movement.

The mistake Republicans made was continually trying to use these people and then thinking they'd go away after the election, because eventually the haters got tired of voting and not seeing their hate turned into government policy and started getting elected themselves.

This season is supposed to be about Christ, and Christ was about Love.

But here we are stuck dealing with this ridiculous Hate shit again.

We need to step up and put a stop to this crap once and for all.

If we let it fester, it becomes a cancer at the heart of our society, a social Fentanyl that, if they have to, a certain percentage of us will keep sneaking off and doing it, like scabby addicts injecting heroin in a MacDonald's bathroom, under the radar for decades if need be.

That's what all that "Lost Cause" bullshit about the Civil War even was.

Driving it back under the radar simply isn't enough.

Do that again, and in a few years, decades or generations it'll simply eat the conservative movement from the inside out again and walk around wearing its skin like a suit.

I'm sick of the goddamned hate, and if we don't beat it down and curb stomp it now, and make it clear that the financial or personal cost of hate should damned well be greater than any emotional high or political return would justify, we're going to keep having this problem.

Not because he's having some kind of obvious mental issue or anything, no.

Not because he's in distress. Paul Gosar could give a shit about that.

If, say, Florida...or Russia (Because yes, even our enemies look at us to see what is permissible on the global stage) were to try and mandate turning its population into lab rats for Elon's mad scheme, what moral basis do citizens have to push back against Power? Some Fundamentalist preacher ranting about the Mark Of The Beast? 

All Elon and Governor DeSantis or President Putin have to do is produce a rival preacher or two that says the opposite. Religion is absolutely not empirical Truth. Worse, right-wing "Conservatism" has become very adept at polluting any doctrinal or spiritual truth that may be present.

(No, I don't see an Islamic country doing this because Islam itself strongly supports personal and family privacy. Also Islamic Fundamentalists would blow shit up. Also, Hungary is subject to EU laws that would likely make implementing such a scheme on a wide scale and for-profit basis...we're looking at conservatives here, let's face that...pretty much impossible.)

Christian fiction and the old End Times Prophecy narrative both depicted the False World System of the Beast and the Global Government it supported (both of which were usually very, very not-subtly portrayed as some kind of combination of liberals and "Republicans In Name Only") as relentlessly Antisemitic and having only been "nice" to the Jews as part of a conspiracy to catch them off guard.

That shit apparently has been completely dispensed with as the Right in general and Tech Bros in particular are being openly Antisemitic. 

As of this moment, I strongly suspect that the previous narrative was these fucking people telling on themselves.

Now, maybe it's just me.

But it seems like even allowing it to be considered that wannabe Nazi totalitarians should be able to wrap up their Antisemitic hatred in a shield of piety and prayer and then talk about putting computer chips in people's heads while personality cults loaded with alleged Evangelical Christians and/or "Fundamentalist" Catholics drink deeply of Denial and make excuses for this shit is a really bad idea.

I'm just going to come right out and say it. I'm fucking tired of "Conservatives" constantly invoking Christianity while they shit all over the Lord's Word and act like a troop of murderous baboons on some weird cocktail of Ecstasy and Steroids.

Modern American "Conservative" Christians would rather support a disgraced retired football player who can't even speak coherently and has a record of familial abandonment, paying for abortions, spousal abuse, and violence than they would support a man who's literally dedicated his life to preaching and teaching the Lord's Word...simply because the former, Herschel Walker, is a Republican and the latter, Raphael Warnock, is a Democrat.

I mean, technically that's nothing. At this point Republicans would rather support a washed up Communist dictator whose army attempts genocide and rapes children than support the country or President that we already have...and again, for apparently partisan reasons. Although, for the life of me, as a former Reagan Republican, I cannot get past the fact that these fucking people support Vladimir Putin, KGB Agent, at fucking all. This dude was literally an officer in the agency that the Soviet Union called "The Sword and Shield Of The Party." That Party, mind you, being the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

Which Republicans have conveniently forgotten, because they'd rather call Democrats "Communists" despite the fact that even the furthest-left Democratic appointed or elected official and probably 90% of their voters are as Capitalist as they come.

But the truth is for modern Republicans none of this crap is about Capitalism, Christianity, or even Conservatism as it's traditionally been understood. 

The modern Democratic coalition pretty much includes everybody from far-right Tea Party guys to socialists. Republicans, on the other hand, seem to prefer high-school mean girls and unrepentant murderers, and it's only getting worse.

As in they've somehow found a Black man willing to be a Nazi apologist. Seriously, a year ago I wrote about how Kanye could've reinvented himself as a Gospel music artist, but had decided instead to simp for Vladimir Putin. 

The truth is, current Republicans and those (mentally ill or otherwise) who are drawn to them simply haven't met an authoritarian they didn't like. They would rather embrace the Radical Islam of Saudi Arabia than democracy and freedom in America.

They'd rather suck up to fucking Viktor Orban, who's never done anything for anybody other than Viktor Orban. Orban, of all the fucking people, who's demonstrably left his country and his people worse off while enriching himself.  

Of course, modern Republicans likely consider that aspirational. 

They all think they're gonna be Viktor Orban someday so they would rather support him than they would uphold the legacy of guys like Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush who made it possible for the Iron Curtain to be torn down in the first place!

It needs to be said. 

It needs to be named and shamed.

Power and wealth isn't a right, these are things that should be earned by leadership and work.

These people aren't interested in 'conserving' anything and they could give a fuck about revealed truth or the wisdom of our ancestors, the things upon which conservatism itself is supposed to be based.

And these fucking people, whose fathers and grandfathers constructed the current liberal-democratic world order in large part to prevent a repeat of the genocidal war they had to fight...would happily usher in a new Dark Age and call it "Righteousness" so long as they think their mostly-imagined enemies would suffer more than they would.

And these fucking people are obsessed with the idea that the rest of the world must be censoring them, holding out on them, or suppressing them.

Because they just can't imagine that their shitty views that don't benefit most people would be unpopular with...most people.

And they think they should just be able to bullshit their way through life and get rich for free while doing it.

These idiots see themselves like Dukes and Earls and Knights and shit. In that context the modern Right's obsession with Medieval Catholicism I guess at least makes more sense, although that still doesn't explain the fascism.

These fucking people don't view God or Jesus in any traditionally Christian context. They see God as a device to fool the feeble-minded, as a shield to cover for their bad behavior, and when all else fails, as some kind of a mythological "Daddy" to run to for forgiveness, protection and some kind of a goddamn bail-out like these motherfuckers never grew out of the college-kid party stage (at best) but they want to be seen like they grown ass adults and righteous (or something.)

Whereas an observant Muslim (especially of the Saudi Salafist variety) might regard their piety as a shield against the anger or wrath of Allah (God) these "Christians" flip the script and turn God into a shield against the wrath of their fellow-man.

It's not about Loving Thy Neighbor As Thyself. Hell, it's not even about Loving The Lord Thy God With All Thy Heart, All Thy Soul and All Thy Might. 

Oh, fuck no. It's about seeing what they can get, and wielding God and religion like a club to protect them from the consequences of their own actions.

And it's about using God, religion and the Bible as excuses for their shitty political and social beliefs, to justify bigotry, patriarchy, wealth and shitting on the very people Christ preached would be first in line for the Kingdom of God.

But of course that Kingdom is not of this world.

So, functionally agnostic or atheistic modern "Conservatives" whose religion is at best a sort of neo-Platonic vague spiritualism or Techno-Gnosticism...and at worst a bunch of empty Norman Vincent Peale feelgood crap or New Apostolic Reformation Black Magic could give a fuck about it. 

The Truth don't get you free money or invited to all the best parties. The Truth don't get them a part-time job with full benefits that can easily be spun into fame and money in its own right, I guess.

The Truth don't get you power and profits on enough of a scale to appeal to these people.

And hate is a lot easier to whip up and manipulate than love.

That's really the kicker. These people don't want to be leaders because they want to make things better for the people who support them, let alone for our country or the world as a whole. 

They don't even give a damn about those people at all.

They see America and the world as worth nothing more than shitting on.

In fact, they have nothing but contempt for the people who follow them.

It's that contempt and hatred...and a belief that everybody else is just as bad as they are...and that is exactly how these assholes see the world.

And they think they have some kind of a right to all this bullshit.

They see gaining the power to be a bunch of fucking freaks and not face consequences for it as their goddamned birthright.

And they'll happily play people from Donald Trump to Herschel Walker to Kanye West all the way down to the obnoxious dumbass who works at the car wash or the old guy living in subsidized housing on Social Security for the fools they are to get what they think they want.

And more to the point, there's others, like Vladimir Putin...who are all too happy to be used as hammers by these assholes to beat the world into their desired shape...so long as they get to act on their biases and petty hatreds and wield power their own damn selves.

This shit isn't Christianity...it's a new religion, or so different from any traditional understanding of Christ and Christianity that it should be regarded as such.

And this Christless Christianity is creating its own global order, parallel to and independent of the current world system, that's every bit as virulent and violent as Cold War-era Communism.

Conservative Christianity has damned little to do with Jesus Christ...and the politics and populism it's spawned has even less.

It's not even the faith of the Apostle Paul...who changed Christianity from the religion of Jesus to a religion about Jesus.

It's a whole different animal. If anything is the "Beast" foretold by Revelation, this crap is starting to look a lot like it. 

And it needs to be treated as exactly that, and dealt with now.

Because the same people who thought COVID-19 vaccines were the "Mark Of The Beast" think Elon Musk putting computer chips in people's heads is a splendid idea.
