In Your Head (Reason For The Season, Two.)

I saw this just after finishing my earlier post. 

Outspoken White Supremacist Rep. Paul Gosar, Tweeting; "Pray for Kanye West."

Not because he's having some kind of obvious mental issue or anything, no.

Not because he's in distress. Paul Gosar could give a shit about that.

(And remember, for an added level of fucked up, that this dude is supposed to be a medical professional.)

No, Paul Gosar doesn't really care about Kanye West, not one damn bit.

It's not that.

But because some unnamed "They" will "Throw everything they have at him for speaking the truth."

Bullshit.

Kanye is obviously having some kind of issues, but he's been an asshole for a lot longer.

What he clearly isn't is some kind of secret custodian of some Great Truth.

And the truth is, people like Paul Gosar don't see him as that, anyway. 

People like Gosar, They see Kanye as a patsy, a pawn who they'll be using for propaganda purposes for a hundred years. I mean, from their point of view if they can get a Black man to say this kind of shit they can use that to try and undermine anybody who speaks out against them or their shitty beliefs.

Now, keep in mind that Right-wing media keeps handing literal Nazis a goddamned megaphone...

And we've got states like Florida trying to keep track of women's periods and other intrusive medical shit that's none of the State's goddamned business, and threatening to try and restrict their movements despite the fact that such would be blatantly unconstitutional...

And right here, we've got this motherfucker who's literally saying he's ready to begin human trials on putting a computer chip in people's brains.

Am I the only one who sees a goddamn problem with this??

These fucking people, who are rapidly morphing from merely fascist to actual goddamn Nazis and who clearly desire a totalitarian government somewhere...anywhere...and who clearly desire a totalitarian global government of some kind...that's on such a level I'd have to wonder how it would even be executable in any kind of reality...because outside of Christian fiction or science fiction where somebody controls the story it basically isn't...

And I can hear the "It's not the Mark Of The Beast when we do it..." arguments already.

Now here's the thing. Because Roe Vs. Wade absolutely was one of the key components in legal arguments for bodily sovereignty and privacy...any Republican state (or for that matter authoritarian National government with a subverted or tamed religious population) that wants to try this crap is one good lawyer or one gamed legal and/or parliamentary system away from doing so.

If, say, Florida...or Russia (Because yes, even our enemies look at us to see what is permissible on the global stage) were to try and mandate turning its population into lab rats for Elon's mad scheme, what moral basis do citizens have to push back against Power? Some Fundamentalist preacher ranting about the Mark Of The Beast? 

All Elon and Governor DeSantis or President Putin have to do is produce a rival preacher or two that says the opposite. Religion is absolutely not empirical Truth. Worse, right-wing "Conservatism" has become very adept at polluting any doctrinal or spiritual truth that may be present.

(No, I don't see an Islamic country doing this because Islam itself strongly supports personal and family privacy. Also Islamic Fundamentalists would blow shit up. Also, Hungary is subject to EU laws that would likely make implementing such a scheme on a wide scale and for-profit basis...we're looking at conservatives here, let's face that...pretty much impossible.)

And there's another goddamned thing.

Christian fiction and the old End Times Prophecy narrative both depicted the False World System of the Beast and the Global Government it supported (both of which were usually very, very not-subtly portrayed as some kind of combination of liberals and "Republicans In Name Only") as relentlessly Antisemitic and having only been "nice" to the Jews as part of a conspiracy to catch them off guard.

That shit apparently has been completely dispensed with as the Right in general and Tech Bros in particular are being openly Antisemitic. 

As of this moment, I strongly suspect that the previous narrative was these fucking people telling on themselves.

Now, maybe it's just me.

But it seems like even allowing it to be considered that wannabe Nazi totalitarians should be able to wrap up their Antisemitic hatred in a shield of piety and prayer and then talk about putting computer chips in people's heads while personality cults loaded with alleged Evangelical Christians and/or "Fundamentalist" Catholics drink deeply of Denial and make excuses for this shit is a really bad idea.

These alleged "Conservatives" are absolutely going to want to put the State right in your damn head because "Abortion" or interracial relationships or LGBT stuff or national security or some such hogwash. And then they'll try and make you pay for it.

(And don't think the "Church Militant" or Red Army Cathedral people won't fall in line right behind this crap.)

Think about that for a second. Think about what these people who are obsessed with Power would do with that.
