Yesterday or so, a buddy of mine posted this bit on the Bird Place about Russian propagandists whining about "Gay Ukrainian super-soldiers."

Just a bit ago, some CHUD commented on it, in apparent agreement with the Russians. He was instantly blocked, but not before I looked at his timeline, anyway.

Instant block. Fuck these people, I'm sick of their horseshit.

But the whole mess got me thinking.

Ever notice, anymore all "Conservatives" want is political and social chaos, bad wages, shitty living and working conditions for everyone...except, of course, for a tiny few at the top who are rich enough to profit no matter how or what everyone else is doing?

And this is true of "Conservatives" be they CEO's or gas station night clerks. It's almost like they find something justifying of themselves about bad conditions and misery...and likewise, when things are good, they're less happy. Their whole bit is "Everything sucks, Vote Republican and don't do anything about it." 

There's no daring to dream, there's nothing to strive for except petty social dominance, nobody's happy, there's no triumph of life over death and these fucking people wonder why they have such high rates of addiction and suicide??

Maybe, try collectively not being a bunch of fascists and miserable sons of bitches??

Likewise, on the surface, they seem to want less American engagement in the world and say they want peace...but the truth is, what they want is for America to stop helping the Ukrainians and stop defending Europe. They want us uninvolved in Africa and the Middle East...about the only place they "want" an aggressive foreign policy is in Asia vs. China but they somehow want to have it without actually doing anything...let alone standing up and fighting, especially if China invades one of our allies, like Taiwan or the Philippines.

Shit, why even have an America? Why not just close up shop and become 50+ little countries, then? Except, you don't want to know what the GDP of Alaska, Guam or Hawaii (or, for that matter, Texas) would be without Federal dollars and the United States Armed Forces...and that's not even getting into matters like defense or health or infrastructure, we're just talking money, here.

All these "Conservatives" trying to ding Biden by talking bad about the situation in Maui (without ever bothering to learn what it is, or what Federal and state government has been doing since the fires happened) they don't give a shit about Hawaii. 

They just want to talk all snide and in a sneering tone because they think it'll make other people not like Joe. They're basically trying to say that democracy or fighting for your own freedom is gay.

Or that fascism or bending over for whatever local potentate wants to butt-rape you is somehow "big dick manly-man Unga Bunga something something Gazpacho." I can't even make it make sense, and I've done drugs.

Like we're all monkeys or some other animal that react primarily to facial expression and tone of voice or some shit? I mean, what?? Come on, you guys can't really be this stupid.

Republican voters...I mean, everybody, but especially Republican voters...these fucking people hate you. They hate you a lot more than they hate the "Left." I mean, they need us...if only to whip you fuckers into a frothing rage-mob over. It's ultimately all of us they find dispensable, but you'll go first.

And that's just how much Republican Party card-carrying members, elected officials and shit, hate America. They'd love to turn America into nothing but wall-to-wall gun stores, oil wells and Walmart's for no better reason than that's who gives them money.

That's not even getting into how much they hate the rest of the world.

Except for Russia, and maybe Saudi Arabia...again because that's who gives these shitheads money...but I've been to Saudi and I've met my share of Russians. Both places that are shitholes, if you think about it.

It's almost like "White Russian Putin-following Neo-Commies trying to bring back the Soviet Union Good" vs. "Chinese Capitalists ostensibly clinging to sort-of Communism as they slowly replace it with Confucian moralism Bad" or something. 

I could be wrong here, but I think in the end it comes down to a question of skin color and how actively and how much their governments persecute LGBT people (or appear to) and whether or not the government plays to the sensibilities of American "Conservatives" and nominal Christians.

I'd guess the truth is, they're just fine with us bowing out and feeding the rest of the world to the Russian bear or the Chinese tiger. How that works out when all the cheap crap Americans (particularly conservatives) are addicted to stops flowing or when countries like China, India and Russia eventually scrap and somebody else fights a nuclear war but it buries California's central valley under six inches of fallout ash, I have a pretty good idea.

The Right might not like California much, but its agriculture feeds a hell of a lot more of America than Iowa's does and people like Kamala Harris have put a lot of work into supporting both the mostly-Latino people that do the work and the mostly-white farmers who own the land. 

Same fucking people, but hungry, will scream at whoever's in charge "How could you let this happen" after years or decades of sitting on their asses watching dumb shit on TV and not doing anything about it their own damn selves while actively trying to interfere with anybody else doing anything either.

The status quo is going to change whether you want it to or not. 

That' simply how the world works. Nobody but you "Conservatives" wants things to stay the same forever.

The only question is, do you want to actually have anything...let alone anything constructive...to say about how it changes?? 

Or do you just want to be mean to Blacks, Gay people and Ukrainians, then talk up a bunch of crap while doing nothing and threatening political warfare against the "other" team??

Ain't we all supposed to be Americans or something?

I thought America was supposed to be exceptional or something, and that this was supposed to mean more...particularly in the eyes of conservatives...than jingoistic White Nationalist bullshit and the worship of Power and Wealth under the fig-leaf of an increasingly obviously-fake Christianity??

Same fucking people who were obsessed with the idea of a Christian nation 15 or 20 years ago seem far more willing to sell America and their souls to Dis Pater, Mammon or the Specter of Robert E. Lee for thirty pieces of silver than they are to kneel before the Cross if that also means somebody's gonna hold them to "Love thy neighbor." Like Christ doesn't get a say in the Judgment or something?

Same motherfuckers would rather fight a civil war and throw in with the New Soviet Union than see the very liberal-democratic values America has always supposedly stood for at home and fostered abroad take deeper root in the souls of the people that live here.

And they hate conservatives who hold democratic values as much as or more than they hate "Liberals."

People keep trying to identify some malaise for why this mess is the way it is, some problem that's causing all this distrust and social calamity. Well, until you fuckers face the fact that the problem is Republicans and do something, it's not gonna stop. 

The problem is the collectively terrible attitudes fostered among conservatives since at least the 1960's...and being honest about why that started (i.e. Civil Rights) and the fact that Republicans, since at least then, have sought to profit from this garbage rather than try to fix it...until you identify and deal with the people causing the problem, and do so correctly, the shit is going to continue. 

If it doesn't get even worse.

Also, anything else you throw at it likely is just trying to throw your moralistic and religious garbage at the wall for the sake of your own ego and hope it does something.

And what happens when venerating cruelty and destruction as the point and purpose of existence boomerangs back on you, conservatives??

What happens when all the gun-happy, law-and-order, media-obsessed, reality-show bullshit you fuckers created to try to stay in power forever-and-fucking-ever turns on you because...well, under our existing Constitution and ethical, legal and moral systems it can't do anything else because you idiots tried to overthrow America and so obviously overstepped the too-often-unspoken boundaries of life that no one could hide it??

What happens when Donald Trump lands himself in prison, and the motherfuckers who spent generations trying to make prison as hellish as possible have to face the fact that that's where their "god" is because he broke the law and otherwise fucked up too bad?

Much less, the ones they make up about America having no choice but to see Trump the real person...not Trump the meme or Trump the wannabe-god.

But we're up against people who couldn't even fight a virus, so if we act with a reasonable degree of competence, even if things get to the point where we gotta get our War Dance on, we're probably mostly going to be Okay.

These fucking people, not so much, and how does that work out when these assholes would turn around and walk right back out the gates of Heaven, who would refuse the Resurrection, as soon as they found out Jesus was a brown Middle-Eastern Jew? That's what they're saying when they're saying the Sermon On The Mount is "Liberal Talking Points."

You want a better country, maybe start with having a better attitude, move on to being a better citizen?
