We have become a Nazi monster in the eyes of the whole world, a nation of bullies and bastards who would rather kill than live peacefully. We are not just Whores for power and oil, but killer whores with hate and fear in our hearts. We are human scum, and that is how history will judge us. No redeeming social value. Just whores. Get out of our way, or we'll kill you. Who does vote for these dishonest shitheads? Who among us can be happy and proud of having all this innocent blood on our hands? Who are these swine? These flag-sucking half-wits who get fleeced and fooled by stupid little rich kids like George Bush? They are the same ones who wanted to have Muhammad Ali locked up for refusing to kill gooks. They speak for all that is cruel and stupid and vicious in the American character. They are the racists and hate mongers among us; they are the Ku Klux Klan. I piss down the throats of these Nazis. And I am too old to worry about whether they like it or not. Fuck them.

"The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride."
~Volodymyr Zelenskyy, allegedly 25 February 2022, Associated Press
I saw this earlier today.
Some MAGA idiot at the last Trump rally, literally calling Trump a "King."
And I've been, like "What the fuck?" ever since.
You're either an American or you're not.
I guess Republicanism really is dead.I mean, literally, the definition of a Republic is "a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch."
This is America. We don't do kings here. This is not up for debate and we fought two wars over it.
I don't even know what the fuck is wrong with these people and I used to be a Republican.
Of course, these fucking people are mad that Trump keeps getting indicted and arrested for, ya know, literal crimes.America is America...and mind you, we've often by means of example and soft power remade much of the world in our image...because people got tired of kings and idiotic, incestuous nobilities. The guillotine, the Hammer and Sickle, and revolutionaries of every spectrum in between remain enduring symbols for a fucking reason. I'm not saying the Revolution is always good, but it's usually a far more enduring symbol than what came before.
Che Guevara is and remains a cultural icon across the world for a reason. The Bolivian and US military personnel who hunted him down...not so much.
The fact that Republicans eventually dumbed their own politics down to the point where they basically got some dumbass White American to say "Why Yes, Madame Antoinette, I WILL eat cake and I will like it!" is precisely why Nixonland has fallen.
This wasn't inflicted by some outside force. Republicans did this to themselves, with malice aforethought...thinking it'd hurt the rest of us more.
But addicting their voter base to stronger and stronger levels of hate is going to end badly for Republicans. Sooner or later, the rest of us are literally going to have to squash this bullshit, or we die.
Casting yourselves as the majoritarian, ravening populist mob while behaving like the out-of-touch elitist Queen while by turns feeding the mob and some narcissistic dickbag isn't some genius move...it's...one of these things is simply not like the other one.Nobody wants a "King" but you.
Remember that, "Conservatives" before you make your next moves.
History Will Absolve Me. ~Fidel Castro
Слава Україна!If the current polls are reliable... Nixon will be re-elected by a huge majority of Americans who feel he is not only more honest and more trustworthy than George McGovern, but also more likely to end the war in Vietnam. The polls also indicate that Nixon will get a comfortable majority of the Youth Vote. And that he might carry all fifty states... This may be the year when we finally come face to face with ourselves; finally just lay back and say it — that we are really just a nation of 220 million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns, and no qualms at all about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable. The tragedy of all this is that George McGovern, for all his mistakes... understands what a fantastic monument to all the best instincts of the human race this country might have been, if we could have kept it out of the hands of greedy little hustlers like Richard Nixon. McGovern made some stupid mistakes, but in context they seem almost frivolous compared to the things Richard Nixon does every day of his life, on purpose... Jesus! Where will it end? How low do you have to stoop in this country to be President? ~Hunter S. Thompson, Fear And Loathing on the Campaign Trail.
