Seriously remember when conservatives used to call liberals "Pinkos" alluding to them being "Communist-lite" or something?

I think turnabout is fair play, here.

Russian state TV keeps using clips of Fox News because Fox News is spewing anti-American and Anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

I keep seeing Americans, most but not all of them notionally "Conservative" issuing statements about the Russian military and it's alleged capabilities that border on fanboyish. But this one was the one that grabbed my attention. Retired Army colonel Douglas Macgregor claiming that "Ukraine has already lost the war" and we should be thinking more about relations with Russia.

Meanwhile, Russian armor crews...always the steel fist of the Soviet giant...are still having a bad day, as is Russian aviation, and logistics, and so on and so forth. The Ukrainians are fighting back, effectively, to the point that they're basically winning this war so far. And pretty much the barest hint of Western power and technology...Javelin and Stinger missiles...has made that task much easier.

And today the Ukrainian Army whacked a couple more Russian senior officers and is starting to push the Russians out of Kyiv. But yeah, tell me again how the Ukrainians are the ones who are losing.

Again, the reason these "Conservatives" keep talking like this is because it's what they want to be true.

And at the end of the day, it's because these fuckers hate America, the EU and the West, and they want to be like the fucking Russians. Please, think about that for a second in light of what's actually going on in Russia, again, a restoration of Soviet tyranny seems to be in effect...and I'm telling you, it will absolutely not end if someone deposes Putin. 

That's for the simple reason that this flying Soviet flags, "Z" bullshit will also serve whatever oligarch might hypothetically replace Putin. It's not going to get any better until somebody steps up and stops this bullshit. It's not an idle thing that I say the Ukrainians are the world's present defenders of democracy and freedom.

And meanwhile, in parts of Mariupol that the Russians control, Ukrainians are being abducted and deported to Russia.

Are you fucking kidding me? This is a goddamned war crime and it's being done in full view of the whole damned world.

But yeah, "Conservatives" we should just let this go, let Russia conquer Ukraine and then let them annex Belarus and Moldova and half-ass the defense of the Baltic States and Poland and the rest of NATO and then let you fuckers undercut the defense of the United States until the KGB is bashing in your door and dragging your ass off to the Gulag or putting you in a reeducation camp and making you learn Russian. Oh, that's right, you forgot about that part didn't you? 

If it ever gets that far, they aren't going to remember you helped them and cut you in on whatever cash flow they get from stripping their conquered territories and satellite states. No, you'll get a 5.45mm Warsaw Pact bullet right between the eyes either right on your own doorstep or up against a wall posing for the firing squad and no one who matters then will care. And they'll find some other even more compliant collaborating bootlicker to replace your stupid ass. It works that way every time these fuckers get to run the experiment. Do you still think you're going to come out ahead if our side loses?

Russia is not only politically, but economically and socially regressing to the Soviet era, there's bread lines and panic-buying of staples like sugar. And it's funny how Republicans aren't saying anything about that yet.

And of course the Russian government is telling them it's temporary and that they'll get money from us?

Fuck that shit, sideways.

You know, you'd think Republicans would be saying something about that if nothing else. What the Russian and US "Conservative" bases want right now is two fundamentally different things. But Republicans are too stupid to see that, too.

And I don't suppose they see the resentment that could arise from legit suffering, either. Or how that, too, could feed into a wider conflagration. But I suppose it's only the fortunes of the mafia oligarchs that these fucking people even give a shit about to start with.

 Republicans don't care about the common American or what we think, so why would they give a shit about the average Russian or what their government might be telling them...let alone how to counter it?

I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger's video the other day, too. He's got the right idea. But really, Arnold was never a movement "Conservative" nor a typical Republican.

Typical Republicans on the other hand are looking for how they're going to profit off this mess, or smear the other side with it.  

And meanwhile, the neo-Communists are stealing the Republicans whole bit and they're not even good at it. Republicans have people like Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith and the late Charlie Daniels...all of whom had their moments, usually before they got political...and the Russians have this crap. 

Some guy named Oleg Gazmanov, basically singing about all the countries these idiots think Russia is going to conquer...and I remind you, they're still losing to the Ukrainians. So how the hell does that work, exactly?

Is this more of that "If we believe in it hard enough, we'll win" type of shit? Tell that to most of the people who were in the Bush 43 administration. It just doesn't work that way. I'm starting to think the main reason a lot of Republicans were against Communism really boils down to professional jealousy at this point.

Republicans right now aren't looking at Russia as The Enemy like they did in the Cold War. No, they're looking at Putin and Russia as what they want to be. It's not an accident that these sons of bitches like Putin. They want to take away your freedom, your human rights, your money and your vote. They look at Russia as an example of what's possible...and I'm sure they look at Putin's rapid re-Sovietization of Russia with admiration, rather than fear, because the cruelty is the damn point, and they'd like to do the same exact type of shit here. And more to the point they don't want you to have the right to even say anything about it.

And they hate the rest of us, and the Ukrainians, for standing in the way successfully. They'd still hate us if they'd won, though. Trump always acted like an aggrieved loser, rather than a winning President, because that's what he was.

So it's no wonder these motherfuckers have found themselves another aggrieved, angry small man to worship as a symbol of their ethnic hatred, greed, insecurity and racism. It was probably inevitable, especially once Trump lost. "Z" will become the new MAGA.

And the Putin-worship will only get worse if he gives them their long-desired festival of cruelty or forever wars. 

The day will come when this will be a problem, and we'd best get ahead of it and start doing something about this shit now.

And if that means telling Republicans to get with the program or go fuck themselves, we do it.
