I saw this earlier today. Tucker Carlson is apparently big mad about M&M's.

The new design for the green one has been changed so it's wearing stockings, or something.

Literally who the fuck cares? 

I mean, seriously, why is this even a thing?

Unless you're just that hell-bent on finding something to be mad about?

Which is exactly what these people are.

I mean, what the fuck?

And you know, that's not even the dumbest shit I saw today. I'm serious.

"Everyone should only have sex in wedlock?"

Fuck, no wonder these people are so goddamned angry all the time.

Not that I think the vast majority of these motherfuckers even go by that, but still, it might explain a few things. 

Badly, but it explains them.

(I'm going to cite what I call Wong's Law after my friend who first proposed it: People will always try to do three things: Get High, Have Sex, and Kill People, because Sin is part of humanity.)

I've been saying for a while now, that I think there's something the fuck wrong with these people.
Convincing people that they should only have sex if they're married? Technically, that's a lot of religions, but in the real world nobody goes by that shit, even in the most Fundamentalist (whether Christian or Muslim) countries on Earth and most other religions either don't care or don't have the numbers to dictate public policy.

 I mean, Seriously, to the best of my knowledge even a majority of radical Islamists don't even go that fucking far.

People might get a little creative with definitions and technicalities, but most people are still going to have sex.

But here's the thing, if you want to drive people to ever-increasing displays of extremism the one-two punch of keeping them angry all the fucking time, and then controlling their sexuality...or getting them to police it themselves, better yet...is one hell of an effective way to go about it. 

If your only "Stress relief" is taking your constant anger out on other people...well, you're probably going to do it a lot, aren't you?

And then...amp up your voter base with utterly meaningless bullshit laws that serve no greater purpose than to divide one group from another, and ultimately delegitimize even the very purpose of democracy and ultimately of government itself...and if you don't think that's exactly what's going on in Mississippi and all these other Republican-led states caught up in this racist anti-CRT frenzy...well, you have another thing coming.

Then, following that up with demonizing even the very concepts of public good, public health, the franchise and universal governance?

Why, these people think...and I have no idea why they think this but they appear to...that the world would be a better place if we were all subject to the absolute monarchy and whims of one man...

....And that the man in question should be *Checks Notes* Compulsive Liar, Gibbering Idiot, and Obvious Traitor Donald Trump?

Now, maybe it's just me, but I'll never understand what the fuck these people see in Obvious Lying Scumbag Donald Trump...who's never actually done a damn thing to hide the fact that he's a lying piece of shit, a racist, and a tax cheat.

In fact...once they had all that data in hand, Conservatives thought "So much the better for us!"

And then they proceeded to get their collective ass kicked, repeatedly, because of Trump. Because nobody likes Trump, certainly not as much as they do.

And here's the thing, when the endless tide of shit that's built up through these fucking people's own actions catches up with his ass, these fucking people are going to go insane

Now, people keep telling me that (for example) Trump's narcissism and pride would prevent him from going into count with a walker or a wheelchair like Harvey Weinstein did. Personally, I think that's bullshit, Trump also is a fucking coward, not wanting to face the consequences for his own actions, and he eternally seeks out sympathy. He'll go into court with no makeup, maybe with a cane or a wheelchair and he'll start deliberately showing the various declines he's made every effort to hide for years.

And then he'll blame the law, the media, and the rest of America.

Seriously, how long do you think it's going to be before all this anger and rage that these Republicans and their Fox News and other media allies keep ginning up results in These Fucking People lashing out violently at their fellow Americans? I'm being 100% serious here. 

Why, with everything that's going on in this world, is Tucker Carlson raging about anthropomorphic chocolates? What else? Like the fact that a war is likely about to start between Russia and Ukraine...and that a number of NATO countries that were once East Bloc satellite states, or themselves parts of the former Soviet Union have already pledged to support Ukraine, if needed, with armed force.

Because they don't want to live under Putinist Neo-Soviet oppression, and who can blame them?

And yes, we're already helping Ukraine and we have been for quite awhile...and now that help has become even more sharp and pointy, because it has to.

Now, in light of that, who gains from there being a bunch of Americans that are a bunch of perpetually rage-filled, uptight lunatics taught to believe any dumb thing that comes down the pike who long to bow and scrape before *Checks Notes* Authoritarian leaders like Vladimir Putin?

I mean seriously something like a quarter of Americans...and thanks to people like Tucker Carlson, a hard majority of "Conservatives" view Vladimir Putin as some kind of Great While Conservative Hope.

Yes, that's right, at least a majority of American conservatives are perfectly well willing to bow down to a fucking KGB Spy.

You think I don't get the whole Trump thing?

I'll really never understand that.

It's like 80 years of Anti-Communism from the far-right was never anything but pure bullshit, at best, and nothing more that cover for hating on liberals and moderate (or center-right) conservatives at worst.

I'm pretty sure wherever he is in the Afterlife, Ronald Reagan is looking at this mess, and thinking that Satan himself couldn't have thought that one up.

Also, note: I find it funny that with all that's going on, the Russians choose now to declassify videos of the detonation of a 100-Megaton nuclear bomb? Actually the yield was dialed halfway down so that the delivery aircraft...a TU-95A "Bear" bomber could escape, but still, that's a big damn bomb. 

I cannot help but feel like this was telegraphed to "advertise" to a certain strain of American.

You know, the power-worshipers, and the religious nuts.

The people who will see their Holy Apocalypse in all that fire and light...

And I'm here to tell you, when war comes and we've been sucked into it (and we almost certainly will be) these fucking people are going to betray America. Because they view us, fellow citizens who don't want to be peasants or subjects, as their enemy, not the Russians.

Their own country, their own fellow citizens, the government, the military...You know, all those societal institutions that they hate, but pretend to love whenever it's convenient.

And more than anything, these fucking people, they long for their days of rage.

And what's a better time for our enemies to wind that mob all the way up than right now?

You have been warned.

Be prepared.

Because at the end of the day, it's we the citizens who are the last line of defense. If you're not willing to fight for it, take the word 'freedom' out of your mouth.

If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth. And this idea that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power except to sovereign people, is still the newest and most unique idea in all the long history of man's relation to man. This is the issue of this election. Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves. ~Ronald Reagan
