You may be shocked by these words coming from me. But on this pilgrimage, what I have seen, and experienced, has forced me to rearrange much of my thought-patterns previously held, and to toss aside some of my previous conclusions. This was not too difficult for me. Despite my firm convictions, I have always been a man who tries to face facts, and to accept the reality of life as new experience and new knowledge unfolds it. I have always kept an open mind, which necessary to the flexibility that must go hand in hand with every form of intelligent search for truth.
During the past eleven days here in the Muslim world, I have eaten from the same plate, drunk from the same glass, and slept in the same bed (or on the same rug) -- while praying to the same God -- with fellow Muslims, whose eyes were the bluest of blue, whose hair was the blondest of blond, and whose skin was the whitest of white. And in the words and in the actions and in the deeds of the "white" Muslims, I felt the same sincerity that I felt among the black African Muslims of Nigeria, Sudan, and Ghana. We were truly all the same (brothers) -- because their belief in one God had removed the "white" from their minds, the 'white' from their behavior, and the 'white' from their attitude. I could see from this, that perhaps if white Americans could accept the Oneness of God, then perhaps, too, they could accept in reality the Oneness of Man -- and cease to measure, and hinder, and harm others in terms of their "differences" in color.
With racism plaguing America like an incurable cancer, the so-called "Christian" white American heart should be more receptive to a proven solution to such a destructive problem. Perhaps it could be in time to save America from imminent disaster -- the same destruction brought upon Germany by racism that eventually destroyed the Germans themselves.

See, here's the thing with that. Our Founding Fathers didn't want to make the USA "Whites Only" because most of them were land-owning farmers who profited off of enslaved labor.
Granted, the way "Race" worked at the time, nobody would have even thought of this stupid shit. In 1775, the idea of an ethnic or racial monoculture was absurd simply because in most places, ethnic and/or racial hierarchy was the norm. Slavery of different kinds was largely still accepted, as was poverty on a scale most modern people wouldn't understand.
I mean, fuck, most White people didn't have anything and weren't actually free either.
A "Whites Only" nation would have meant guys like George Washington would have had less money and less political power.
More to the point, the Founders...especially guys like Thomas Jefferson...didn't actually give a damn about "Racial Purity."
Go ahead, look up Sally Hemmings, I fuckin' dare you.
While I'm at it, most of the Founding Fathers are generally on record as despising Kings, the idea of Kingship in general, and the Divine Right Of Kings and puffed-up morons similar to Donald Trump in particular. Such were pretty damn common around the world when this country was founded.
More to the point, I'll never get what "Conservatives" think they're getting out of constantly blowing the goddamned narcissist.
I mean, among other things it's pretty obvious that Trump doesn't appreciate it or enjoy it, and no matter what you do he's going to expect more of it.
And not reward you for it.
They think they're gonna get the Divine Right Of Morons, but the truth is only Trump gets that.
I'm not sure which came first, the rabid desire among "Conservatives" for Idiocracy or their turgid devotion to ideas of Monarchy that most of the rest of the world abandoned a long time ago, and most of the rest of the United States Of America never held in the first damn place.
And it's long been my experience that conspiracy theories, mental illness and pants-shitting fear of basically everything go hand-in-hand with idiotic religiosity...especially the Prosperity Gospel and various flavors of "Kill 'em all and let God sort it out."
I'm a United States Air Force veteran. I know what a goddamn contrail is and I not only know one when I see it, I can usually ballpark what kind of aircraft it's from if I can stand there and give it a look for a bit.
But the thing is, anybody who's taken a middle-school science class should have absolutely no excuse for "Believing" in "Chemtrails."
Contrails are water vapor, not chemicals.
The thing is, your basic goddamned Roman Plebian was smarter than this, or at least less afraid of shit.
Cowardice was not considered a virtue in Ancient times, nor was idiocy.
And it's worth note that, their own protestations aside, it's not Rome that these fucking people want to emulate, it's Dark Ages Europe...or at least some idiotic idea of it. These fucking people don't realize Whiteness as a concept didn't exist at that time.
But the truth is These Fucking People's desire for some combination of medieval peasantry and incestuous nobility and the pre-Magna Carta power thereof has outstripped all common sense.
Somehow they all think they're gonna be the King is his castle, the Lord in his manor, or the Warlord with his Barbarians...and not the serfs laboring in the fields, not the slaves working in the mine, and sure as hell not the catamite strapped to the tailgate of the warlord's Toyota Hilux technical truck, stored right next to the ammunition for the DHSK Machine Gun until the warlord comes calling.
And this dream of Power is...honestly...pretty much the only thing most of these motherfuckers believe in.

You want to win? You have to care about other people.
You either believe in freedom or you don't, and you're either willing to fight for it or you ain't.
Freedom isn't free, people.
And we have to be willing to pay the cost.
Because they won't.
But they don't really want to pay the costs of anything else, either.
