I'm serious, for example the rampant Transphobia that people like Nancy Mace have been indulging in lately is nothing but a gateway drug to first removing any woman that doesn't fit some ultra-feminine stereotype...and after that, women in general...from public life. Because, after all...unless people walk around with some little gadget implanted into their forehead or their hand that displays their genetic code to all and sundry and everybody knows what those lines and twists mean (And what are the chances of that in a country where 21% of people are illiterate??) since you cannot automatically tell the freaking difference between a transwoman and a regular woman it's the only way to be sure, in the end. And how, exactly, is any nation that removes half its population from effective contribution to anything other than breeding stock or concubinage going to stand up against internal threats like Christian Nationalists or Radical Islam, much less long-term enemies of civilization like the Russians??

By comparison, here in the real world, my LT when I was in Air Force security forces was a woman, and that was 30 years ago and literally no one cared. For fuck's sake, Women have served in the US Air Force Security Forces/Security Police since 1973 (since several months before I was born, in fact) with no issues. In point of fact, literally conservative writers of military fiction like Tom Clancy were writing female characters in combat roles since the freaking 1980's and if we're being serious, Robert Heinlein was doing that shit in the 1950's when my Mom was a little kid!

And while I'm at it, I've been seeing a fair amount of pictures lately that suggest to me that even Trump is scared of people like Elon who've jacked the Lockstep March Ever Rightward.
