Over the weekend, Elon Musk went onstage with Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, PA.
MAGA of course, treats this horseshit like it's the Second Coming.
Like, if you haven't figured out by now that these fucking people are basically in it because they hate America, and for the bigotry and whatever they can steal, I'm not sure that I can help you or that I even want to try.
All I heard for months on end was that the Republicans were gonna have some dirty October Surprise lined up and I said, Nah, these fucking creeps are going to October Surprise themselves.
Turns out, they're pretty much going full Republican Babylon and the goddamned MAGA Republican voters can't get enough of that shit...except that there seems to be an increasing number of them that are defecting to vote for Kamala Harris.
Trump is going to lose. Let's just get that out of the way right now.
But I'm not sure how much that matters with a bunch of fucking people, alleged Christians in fact, who'd gladly turn to worshiping the Beast Of Revelations itself if the Beast said "I hate N****rs."
Yes, Trump is a poor substitute, a test run, I think.
But if he is that, then whatever dark powers are behind all this shit know the test has succeeded beyond all imaginable expectations. These fucking people, Conservatives, Evangelicals, whatever...none of it matters. Having somebody and something to hate is far more important than any "Faith" they might claim. If Trump came up with some kind of prototype Mark Of The Beast, or even endorsed Musk's version...that Neuralink crap...you know a bunch of these MAGA idiots would get it just out of pure unshakable cultic partisan loyalty.
And they do it for no better reason than because he allows and encourages them to be the worst fucking people possible??
When Jesus accused the Pharisees of straining at gnats and swallowing camels, THIS is what He was fucking talking about! These idiots bang on endlessly about a whole bunch of things that aren't even in the Bible...but became Conservative political dogma when various things like racism and support of dictators that they'd engaged in before became unpopular...and now Trump has given them that shit back too!
And not just Trump, but his goddamned followers have turned Christianity, conservatism and the Republican Party into a motherfucking clown show...and it's getting worse as Republican candidate quality continues to decline.
And then they have the balls to act surprised when even a lot of Republicans are running away from this crap now? When Republicans, once the Party of Ronald Reagan and "Tear Down This Wall!" HAVE GIVEN UP ALL THAT for, again, Donald Fucking Trump?
Like are you fucking kidding me?
And a hell of a lot of Americans...most especially on the "Conservative" side have no idea what the fuck they're sleepwalking into, much less that they're doing it for a goddamn narcissist for whom no amount of bloodshed or human sacrifice would ever be enough.
But then, like I've been saying, for Republicans it's "Anything but America" and "Anything but Love Thy Neighbor."
That ain't what I was taught. I mean for fuck's sake when I was 18 years old there were still conservative Democrats and liberal Republicans and a lot of people were good friends with people on the other team.
It took an adulterous shit-bag like Newt Gingrich to get people to start regarding people as blood enemies simply for being members of the Other Party...which, I'm sorry, but in a system like ours there has to be an Other Party.
We did pretty well on divided government for a long time, with each side restraining the other's worse impulses.
Who wrecked that? Republicans.
And they kept going until they ended up with a braying jackass and sniveling dumbass who worships KGB Agent Vladimir Putin.
"Reagan Wept" does not even begin to cover it.
And fuck anything I was taught about individual liberty and rights, limited government, the State minding its own business, etc. Modern Republicans want a totalitarian State big enough to run every aspect of your life, yet also small enough to jam up your ass just for kicks. They'll strain at every possible gnat just to find more excuses to do it.
And they don't care how dishonest, immoral and nonsensical it all is...because they've accepted Trump as their God. That's swallowing the goddamn camel, right there.
That, my friends, is exactly how you go to Hell.
Only thing is, Republicans have embraced the idea of going to Hell, so long as they think they're going to take some of the rest of us there with them.
This ain't the Way.
Listen up, my fellow Democrats: If you can't stand up and fight against that, what the fuck are we even doing here?
You either believe in freedom or you don't.
