Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

I saw this last night.

Some idiot calling Trump a "Modern Day Moses" with an AI image of him parting the waters.

Some people really do wanna wander aimlessly in the Desert for 40 years, just to hold up progress, I guess.

And for the record it ain't that far from Egypt, even to the parts called such in the Ancient World, to pretty much any part of Israel, ancient or modern.

People only get that lost because they wanna be.

And so it is with people like Nick Adams, who pretty much is only known to...well, anybody...because he's made a career out of blowing Trump for the last ten years.

I'd rather be the piss boy in a brothel, it's more honest work.

This shit is well past regular cult-level as far as I'm concerned, it's Antichrist and Blasphemy.

These fucking people believe in Donald Trump more than they ever believed in Jesus Christ.

Which isn't surprising if you think about it, given that there's a wide strand of Fundamentalist Christianity that basically teaches people to be Angry, Violent Atheists, Minus One Belief System (That being whatever version of Independent Fundamentalist Bullshit their particular preacher screams at the congregation about every Sunday.)

And all of them describe God as an angry, violent narcissist.

Essentially the only difference between God and the Devil in their religion is which side you're on. And, yo, if that sounds completely backwards to you that's because it is.

This shit is a very Man-centered religion both regarding "Man" as a general construct and a certain type of Men in particular. Just in case you wonder WHY I think these fuckers would rather worship Devils and Idols Of Gold than the Truth.

We've got to take the neighborhood back. We've got to go in there. Just forget telling your child to go to the Peace Corps. It's right around the corner. It's standing on the corner. It can't speak English. It doesn't want to speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk. "Why you ain't where you is go." I don't know who these people are. And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. Then I heard the father talk. This is all in the house. You used to talk a certain way on the corner and you got into the house and switched to English. Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't land a plane with "why you ain't…". You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. There is no Bible that has that kind of language. Where did these people get the idea that they're moving ahead on this? Well, they know they're not, they're just hanging out in the same place, five or six generations sitting in the projects when you're just supposed to stay there long enough to get a job and move out. ~Bill Cosby, the "Pound Cake" speech.

Like I keep saying,  I can't even talk the way these people talk anymore, and I was raised in this stuff!

If I'd have said "Donald Trump is God" or "Donald Trump is Moses" as a Catholic School kid in 1985, I wouldn't have remembered anything else that happened that week, I'd have got ass whuppins for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I wouldn't have been able to sit down for at least a month.

So, 40 years later, what the fuck is the difference??

If we've fallen that far it's because we wanted to.

When I worked third shift at the casino I used to poll co-workers on various things at least once a week, sometimes just to see if they knew basic shit.

You'd be surprised how many Independent Fundamentalist Conservatives, alleged Protestants all, have no idea who Martin Luther was, what the 95 Theses were or even where the city of Wittenberg is, let alone what all this stuff came together to make.

Pro tip, homie, it's the religious movement you pretend to be a part of when you're sitting in the breakroom staring at an open Bible looking all serious.

I propose that we need an American Reformation in order to fix this mess.

Because at this point the alternative is an Antichristianity that worships men like Donald Trump and if you don't see why that's a problem, from a Christian perspective, I cannot help you, and I'm not sure I want to waste time trying.

You're Biblical-grade Lost, taking 40 years to go what should be a journey of about 700 Klicks, at best.

And it's because you want to be that way.

Cuz you think you'll get something for it.

Because Anything but "Love Thy Neighbor" is the only Truth you hold in your heart.

Donald Trump ain't gonna Save you, not in this life or the next.

He's just a man, and not even a very good one.

And when somebody nails that list to the door and calls out the false doctrine of Indulgences that has infected the American church, you're gonna tell on yourself.

Because you'd rather reject God than face the Truth about what's been going on here for the last ten years, let alone the crap you've personally decided to go along with.
