It's Easter, and yet another year in a row these fucking people are trying to make the Lord's day all about themselves and Trump. Like, JD Vance was apparently surprised when he just showed up and the Pope didn't want to talk to him.

I don't just crash in on my neighbor like that. I wouldn't even consider just dropping in on the Pope.
I get that these fucking people are dishonest, ragingly stupid narcissists, but seeing them in action is very often infuriating simply because I remember not only what I was taught...but because I also remember that it was enforced, occasionally painfully.
I mean, shit, I served in the military and can remember when lying would end somebody's career.
How the fuck do you maintain that, hell, how does anybody want to learn anything other than how to bullshit with somebody like Trump around??
I mean, what's even the point of being honest or doing honest work if one can become President or otherwise get extremely powerful and wealthy by telling obvious lies to the feeble-minded and willfully ignorant??
I mean, unless you have a conscience or even just don't wanna spend your Afterlife on Satan's hot-plate?
If we ever want to get out of this, if we ever want to get past it, hell, if anybody even wants an American Resurrection...or even simply to prevent the death of our nation...we are going to have to make lying wrong again and put the fear of God or somebody at least into these fucking people!!And I say that on purpose.

It's Easter, and it's the Christians who are basically shouting at the World to move the stone back in its place because they prefer a dead Savior on a stick to a living Christ who might judge them.

I was just talking to the Pastor of my old study group on Facebook Messenger, and he doesn't even do religion anymore because of people like that.
American Evangelical/Fundamentalist/Right-Wing Christianity seems, anymore, to do nothing but hurt people, especially anybody who really believes in anything at all.
These "Conservative" motherfuckers care more about Power than they ever did about Freedom, let alone Jesus.
And that, my friends, is how American Christianity dies...and deserves it.
Then it promotes lying sacks of shit like Donald Trump and JD Vance and podcast bros who look like they know where all the Glory Holes are at, while literally having the attitude that if you're just a regular person who doesn't wanna be bothered by this shit or who's just trying to live their life, fuck you.

And it ain't just me who's feeling that way, either.I feel like we're sleepwalking into a second American revolution because too many fucking people missed the point of the first one.

And if you'll say that...just outright say it like you think nobody will notice or punish you...what else and what exactly are you lying about??
Freedom requires Truth.
You either believe in freedom or you don't.
Sincere belief in Jesus (or any other divinity) requires an honest decision to be freely made and for the teachings to be followed.
If it's just an in-group or a political stunt or a social club to you or you follow Christianity because you think God will help you get rich, you're going to hell.
So why bother??
This is what I was taught 40 years ago. I don't know why this is hard for people.
To be resurrected with Christ, you have to die to your Self.
Maybe it's just me but I think that disqualifies narcissists??
If you can't trust your neighbor...much less your President or other political leaders...how do you expect to have a nation for much longer, or even a society to live in??
The Truth, too, has become a thing we have to fight for.
Remember that, this Easter.
Because "What is True" isn't just going to be on the test...it's the basis for all of the answers.
Truth is the only thing that gives people a floor to stand on to push back against Power.
Jesus knew it, it was Pilate who asked Him "What is Truth" not the other way around.
If Jesus came back today, it'd be the "Christians" who tried to Crucify Him. They'd call Him a "Liberal" and a "Terrorist" and "Woke" and shout it in the streets.
It wouldn't matter if He came back preaching verbatim out of the King James Bible.
And talking to my former Pastor reminded me...I've been feeling and to one extent or another saying this for twenty years.
Maybe now is the time to make it stop.
