Trump ordered military police to clear the part around a church yesterday, entirely to appropriate said church for a photo op. Then, either he or ordered members of the clergy to be tear-gassed. That's not even the worst of this stupid, ungodly bullshit. You know what is?

The Evangelicals fucking love him for it. Hmm, I wonder if that could potentially backfire when the only "god" Trump worships is himself.

///Recording Begins: [Grainy video, timestamp 1143 2/7/21, Running men in tactical gear carrying grenade launchers and sidearms. Smoke rises into the blue sky and helicopters and gunfire and sirens can be heard. A crude hand-made Church sign reads "Victory In Christ Jesus Baptist Church" with service times and the statement, in both English and Spanish "Jesus Christ Is Lord." The church itself is a simple, shabby double-wide house trailer, and there are a dozen cars packed into the small, dusty parking lot. The men in the lead kick the flimsy door open, interrupting the service in the small living room turned into a Sanctuary. "What is it that you want?" One of the uniformed men in view of the camera, a Lieutenant, replies "Sir, I'm sorry to inform you that this organization is suspected of disloyalty under Directive 21 decreed by the President and ratified by the Provisional Republican Congress. You can declare your loyalty, sir, or you can come with us." The Pastor appears to be unmoved. The LT speaks "He's only the 'President' of those states full of Jews, Liberals,and Terrorists. We'll fix that soon enough. Say, Make America Great Again, and order your congregants to do the same." The Pastor replies "Mister Trump lost the election, what you are doing is wrong. Joe Biden is the President. I don't like him, I didn't vote for him, but he won. It is time to move on..." The LT becomes visibly angry and unstraps his holster, resting his hand on the grip of his .40 Caliber pistol "Say Make America Great Again, and you're still coming with us, or else!" The Pastor does not budge, and shouts back "Viva Christo Rey!" The LT. draws his pistol in one smooth motion and shoots the Pastor in the forehead. [As he falls, shocked gasps can be heard from the Congregation, the large elderly man shakily rises to his feet.] "Hey! You can't do that! This is America. I supported the President. We all did, but what you just did is wrong!" [Without a word the other trooper in view of the camera shoulders his grenade launcher and shoots the old man right between the eyes with a rubber bullet, reducing his face to a bloody, pulped red mess and he falls to the floor with a heavy thump. A hand covers the camera, but the words "No Quarter!" are heard among other indistinct sounds. [Recording Ends.]///

I was a Christian and a conservative, I'm a veteran, and I don't know where the fuck these people get their ideas of what courage or religiosity are. It is not a courageous act to walk across the street surrounded by armed men, after troops have attacked innocent people under your orders. If this is these people's idea of "Freedom" count me right the fuck out.

Before this crap is over, MAGA will demand that every person in the world give it full-throated endorsement or visibly cower before it...or be considered an enemy and attacked. Yet these fucking people cannot even get protesters nor people on the internet to stop making fun of them in public.

I'm fucking serious. This is not what I was taught. These people are not the Party of Lincoln, they are fucking traitors, just like the Confederates were. And if this is some kind of a coup, or institution of Martial Law...well it sure doesn't feel like one. His use of words "Antifa" "Far Left" and constant use of negatives and superlatives, etc. seems almost childish. It's like he doesn't know what the words mean but like an illiterate tribal witch doctor he knows that if he hoots and screams and shakes his rattles and speaks them, they will have some kind of "magical" effect on his followers. And this is America? And supposed grown-ass adults are trying to rationalize this shit, albeit badly? Come on, now.

Nor do these fucking fools seem to understand what the words "consent of the governed" mean. We The People do not seem to be backing down, nor consenting. These fucking idiots apparently cannot control their own capital city, how do they think they're going to force the entire country to bend to their will? This is going to go one of two ways, it's either going to be over in a few days. It's either going to end very quickly with Trump and his cabal driven from power, or if not it's going to turn into a long war as elements of the government, the military, and the public choose sides. I consider the latter to be the most likely outcome, simply because it's what conservatives appear to want.

The virus was previously judged to have been contained in June of 2020, August of 2023 and May of 2027, flaring up again due to its use as a biological weapon by right-wing forces during the fall of the United States, the arrival of refugees, and outbreaks caused by the anti-vaccination movement.

Apparently, cops are attacking medical professionals now. More evidence, I think, that they simply want to cause destruction...or perhaps since they have not gotten the kind of responses that they desired from the public with their bad behavior, outright criminality and evil acts (in other words we're not all cowering while pissing ourselves) they have simply decided that they want to hurt the communities they're supposed to be protecting. Tell me again, why do we as a society put up with these assholes? The sole function of a number of these agencies appears to be to hurt people, or abuse and rape those, such as migrants and refugees who simply seek to exercise lawful human rights of freedom of movement, or to escape from persecution, war, and a hundred other forms of calamities.

The behavior and conduct of these agencies has, however, often represented America at its most xenophobic, and to be quite honest these fucking people, even before 9/11 spent an awful lot of their time simply harassing Americans for traveling to places like Canada and Mexico. Purity culture turns a lot of Americans into a bad reflection of their own stereotypes of Hindus and others who believe that certain things are "unclean" or certain people are "untouchable" and there's a very large and unhealthy dose of racism in the mix as well.

We're doing alright so far, but we have to keep the pressure on. We can't let up, and as regards the violent protesters and looters, so?

Meeting rubber bullets and tear gas entirely with nonviolence only works if the other side has a conscience, and these fucking people don't. The pressure has to come from both sides, and these fucking people have to be forced from power. Elections are not going to be enough at this point. They must see the power of the people. For far too long America's leaders...especially Republicans and the wealthy...have regarded themselves as rulers rather than citizens and power as their birthright, not something to be earned by competence, respect, and sustained superior performance. Respect is earned, by every action, every day...and whose respect do Republicans have, really?

They are, one and all, unfit for the positions in our society that they hold. Not so much John McClane as Harris and Proctor from the Police Academy movies. Even Trump himself has shown he's not the Abomination of Desolation, not the Antichrist, he's just some jumped up businessman who managed to get lucky and get elected, then decided to start shit, and ran for his fucking bunker when We The People actually showed up.
