I saw this a few days ago.

The guy that, awhile back, some idiot Republican was saying "Should be thrown from a helicopter" for an alleged assault on an NYPD Officer had all charges dropped because he wasn't even there and video evidence conclusively proved this.

Republicans don't give a shit, they wanted to whip up a mob and their amoral idiot base obliged them.

That's literally how much contempt Republicans have for #1 Their own voters and #2 Everybody else's rights. That right there, let that shit sink in. In Republicans' not-exactly defense, their own fucking voters traditionally live down to their absolute worst expectations. Republicans, in fact, count on this bullshit.

And against the backdrop of this horseshit, I saw the other day Hero Of Socialist Labor, Red Banner Senator "Moscow" Mitch McConnell AKA Yertle The Turtle And Other Lies (R-Russia) is retiring.

Dude may well be, so to speak, the last Republican to have married outside the bloodline.

Motherfucker hates Trump, but endorsed him anyway, because in true Republican fashion he has to flip us all the bird on the way out the door so we don't think to check his pockets for all the pens and shit he's stolen from the Senate chambers.

But, health issues aside, there's another big and very understandable reason Mitch is retiring.

You think MAGA don't like Latino migrants? Fuck, how mean they gonna be to a Human/Turtle crossbreed if they ever get their way? I mean, Jesus, bro.

In all seriousness though, there's a lot less of a gap between Mitch McConnell and the guy at the top of the page than a lot of old rich White Republicans love to think there is. Mitch knows. Oh yes, he does.

In the eyes of the MAGA mob, at this point anybody who isn't a full-on fire-breathing White Christian Nationalist dude but also spanking the monkey to the idea of having gay sex with Donald Trump while screaming "I'm sorry, Jesus!" like the weird Evangelical virgin kid in Clerks II during the Donkey show at the end is...at best, second-best. Back of the bus for you, old man, if you're lucky. (And if you don't think it'll come to exactly that-and to shooting people in the streets-if these fucks get their way, you're wrong.)

Throw in any other negatives and...what's the damned difference between them and that Latino guy flipping Republicans the Bird, anyway?? Mitch already done married that [insert various slurs here] bitch so he's already "Not racist enough" on top of having committed the cardinal sin of Not Thinking Trump Is Jesus.

I mean, these people have already denied Christ for Donald Trump, so they might as well go all-in, and it will get even worse than that. A bad-faith moral panic about some Latino guy is nothing, once you've sold your soul for...some utterly empty, worthless arglebargle about "Owning The Libs."

(You know most of us stopped being upset and just started getting angry and deciding to do something about this garbage five minutes into Trump's "Weird shit" inaugural address, right?)

Lara Trump is already threatening to kick anybody who won't go full lisping "He's So Dreamy" RE: Trump out of the goddamn Party and the Primaries ain't even quite done yet. Jesus, what's wrong with these fucking people.

What's next? Shooting the first guy who stops clapping at the 2024 RNC after Trump's 3-hour Castro-esque harangue of an acceptance speech for his Coronation Nomination??

Just sayin' if you value your freedom, vote Democratic. The last other option, God bless her, just quit.

And I have no intention of ever voting Republican, ever again (Not least cuz my Mom is on Social Security, and I say this as a former Republican.)

You don't have to like it, but if you want to be a citizen rather than a slave (And yes, I'm talking to you, White People) that's what the deal is right now.

And it can and will get worse. The smart thing to do would have been to never let this bullshit happen in the first place. I spent a year and a half in 2015 and 2016 telling people this.

Because either way, no matter how November goes, it's almost certain to take a war...and likely, letting them break off a piece of America so they can have their own little MAGA Banana Republic (minus the bananas) and run it into the ground while trying to invade all their neighbors and reinvent the goddamn wheel, just to jack off their own narcissism, Elon Musk style...in order to get these fucking people out of our politics.

And if you don't think at least some of these fucking people would die of disease or starve to death just to "Own" some imagined "Libs" you haven't been paying attention.

If you want a better country, you have to be a better citizen, not be that fucking guy.
