Last week, at a rally with Eric Trump and Mike Flynn, Pastor Mark Burns called Democrats "Demonic" and "Demon-Possessed" and said they were "From the gates of hell."

I'm going to note here that the same people openly support Vladimir Putin, and now that more cities and towns in Ukraine are being liberated from Putin's neo-Soviet Army the Ukrainians are digging up massive numbers of bodies and finding all sorts of evidence of atrocities and mass murder. 

The Bible doesn't say shit about being a Democrat, but it goes all the way up into the Top Ten rules outlined therein in stating opposition to murder and harm inflicted on the undeserving.

Whatever happened to "Thou Shalt Not Kill?"

Apparently these assholes think the Bible was written on the back of a pizza box by the Watergate Plumbers during a planning session in 1972, or something.

Meanwhile, not only Trumpism proper, but Republicanism in general appears to be taking on the character of an increasingly creepy religious cult.

But I'm here to tell you, like everything else in this pantheon of stupidity, Trump himself is expendable. 

Because of the whole Martha's Vineyard migrant scandal, Ron DeSantis succeeded in wrenching the news cycle away from Trump until today when the whole "Special Master" thing apparently blew up in TFG's face and Judge Dearie demanded evidence of document declassification, etc. on an expedited timetable and Team Trump refused to cooperate.

When what gets you back in the news is yet more extended self-immolation, after you just had your lunch eaten for five days straight by your most immediate competitor, that doesn't bode well for the future of this project, Donnie Boy.

Not that I expect either the creepy-religious-cultism or any of the rest of it to go away if Trump does.

In fact, I genuinely expect it will do nothing but get worse from here on out no matter what happens.

Because even as Trump bumbles from one legal fuckup to another and his sins become more and more apparent, thanks to groundwork laid by a whole bunch of Prosperity Gospel Liars and other "Christian" bullshitters during the Trump presidency, at the lower levels the Unga Bunga woo woo Pentecostal types have made serious inroads, most notably with Doug Mastriano in Pennsylvania. 

You could probably make the argument that this will fuse with Trumpism...but I doubt it, because the last thing those fucking people want is to have to share with anybody else, least of all anybody who doesn't play their games.

They might well let the two entities fuse...but then they'll take the whole thing away from him because Unga Bunga something something Gazpacho and no it doesn't have to make sense. I couldn't even tell you what their excuse will be, except it'll likely be something made up on the spur of the moment that happens to catch on.

And I'm going to warn you now, if you think Trump is a narcissistic douchebag, well these fucking people have millions more where he came from and some of them are demonstrably worse, not least because mental illness doesn't just run in these circles...it gallops like an Arabian horse with its tail on fire.

And they ALL think they should have unlimited Totalitarian Power, because Jesus or something.

But they're well advanced on the process of kicking Jesus Christ out of His own religion and replacing Him with anti-vaxxer woo and conspiracy theories...because no matter how harshly Fundamentalist or overrun with woo woo, Christianity as it has historically existed, serving a greater power, places limits on one's behavior and demands one think of others to some degree.

And these fucking people don't like that.  

Yes, this is that Christless Christianity I've been warning you readers about for years.

And not only that...it gets worse.

The same fucking people who will ardently demand dour abstinence, harsh religiosity, meticulous obedience to laws, no sexual expression that doesn't result in procreation, and self-sacrificial regard for "Life" out of others will...think absolutely not one goddamned thing of offering to send Vampire Porn of themselves to some reporter or other because reasons. 

And they will think nothing of it. Hell, it's not just no big deal, try and nail Tudor down on this tomorrow and she'll act like it didn't even happen. 

Nothing Real Exists to them. Not the Earth, not other people, nothing. 

These fucking people all (really) think they're some sort of god.

It's not just the soul-crushing hypocrisy, or the utter lack of self-awareness...it's that on top of that, these motherfuckers expect you to be a True Believer, to really believe in all the shit, and to ignore their manifold transgressions and their mighty sins.

While they get to preach at you about yours, real or imagined.

Because they're "Special" or something. (And you're not.)

And the fact that this mentality is allowed to exist without these motherfuckers getting punched in the face every day is exactly how we ended up with Trump.

No, seriously. This is their entire fucking "Reasoning." I dealt with this shit off and on for over twenty years before I finally kicked the last of these idiots out of my life, and I've had more than one "Born Again" (technical) virgin send me topless pics during that time, think nothing of it, and then deny it when their interest (or mine) waned, until they needed some excuse to cause drama.

And no matter what it is, their sexual excesses are always Okay, because Jesus. Even homosexuality is only bad when you...or anybody else who wants a consensual, loving, committed relationship without being guilt-tripped about it or sneaking around...does it.

Because just like modern Republicanism, Christless Christianity is a jealous god that brooks no rivals, let alone other loves. You either buy all the way in, or they don't want you.

But that doesn't mean you have to have conventional morality, or even more than the appearance of it up to a certain point. Literally anything is only as good as how well it provides a stick to beat somebody else over the head with so they can feel righteous. And these people literally think nobody has the right to not put up with their priggish hectoring and endless bullshit. The cruelty is the goddamned point.

As is the dishonesty, evil, mass theft, etc. The Book of Revelation is not wrong about these people, only about which side they're on.

You think the "Conservative" Blood God as we know it, with all the cruelty, evil, racism and stupidity that goes with it...is bad??

Wait until you experience the vast, yawning Abyss that exists where these fucking people's souls are supposed to be.

And they worship that Abyss...as God.

It can ever and always get worse.

Until we stand up and say "No more."
