I saw this last night.

Evidently, Elon Musk has randomly decided to go all in on defending the "Q-Anon Shaman" who pleaded guilty a long damn time ago and is serving time for his part in the 1/6 insurrection.

Especially considering the dude was flamboyantly part of the whole event, to the point of becoming the face of it. And not only that, but Jacob Chansley himself appeared to revel in the attention and the role. 

These fucking people claiming to be religious and acting like they think they're some kind of organized prisoners of conscience in Washington D.C. jails is nothing but a big scam.

Given that Muskrat recently proposed creating a literal "Company Town" and the ongoing push for child labor and for states to try and claim the ability to regulate is (Claiming the excuse of a "tight labor market" which is of course complete horseshit) I find efforts by him or any other billionaire to push against either federal power or obvious truth to be suspicious in the extreme.

It has nothing to do with needing more workers. It has everything to do with the availability of unaccompanied migrant children and the desire of men of power to claim more power over somebody, hell, anybody, simply for the sake of having it.

Do not doubt that there will be incidents of sexual harassment and assault that involve these underage workers, if there haven't been already. It's not about a labor shortage. It's a power trip. It's the kind of power trip that American workers have denied these assholes since COVID-19 hit, they want their wage slaves back...and sooner or later this will absolutely go to someone's dick.

Tennessee's rabidly anti-gay Lt. Gov. apparently also got himself caught in a gay scandal, repeatedly "Liking" and leaving heart emojis on the posts of some gay twink Instagram star or something.

Seriously, how much of this utter backwards savagery that's going on right now exists purely to "Cover" for the debased sexual bullshit of right-wing "Conservative" "men?"

I'd be one thing if they would just be what they are openly, even if they were still being Republicans (Seriously, I've known lots of gay Republicans over the years) and just not taking their personal shit out on other human beings.

Thing is, though, then you've got other Republicans covering for this Jihad against the truth. Now they're openly trolling for conflict...if not open warfare...with China and (seriously) Mexico, which is a major US ally last I checked.

And it's not like it's really in our interest to start a war with China, to which conservatives and corporations cheerfully outsourced our industrial base for 30 years.

It all seems mostly based on some combination of conspiracy theories and/or racism. Like we couldn't see that coming. 

Because of course, the same people seem just fine with letting Russia run roughshod over Europe, never mind that most of Europe...also our allies...had rather emphatically said that they don't want that.

Of course, I get it, these assholes don't really think you're either a real Republican or a real White person if you don't share their bullshit Christian Nationalist, Far-right political view of the world.

And they wanna have their little tin-pot, warmongering Gilead, to the point where they'll break a piece of America off to get it, if they have to. 

Even if they have to accept Russian-satellite "statehood" and submission to people far worse than their most inflated visions of their own toughness to get it.

But they also wanna have their shitty little Republican Babylon where they get to play hide the sausage with each other all the time, and their Trailer Park Rome where they make their offerings in secret to Asmodeus and Dis Pater while publicly claiming and then basking in the "Righteousness" of Christian Nationalism. 

As long as they get that, I have a feeling they'll accept and rationalize everything else.

While other people get nothing but church services, fascist jackboots, and slavery.

And they don't want to be bound by any of that "reality" stuff, or science or truth, either.

What do you want to bet that they will also refuse to be bound by or to obey the Bible or any Christian doctrines, either. 

Hell, these assholes think they want to live in a world where they can just buy whatever they want...up to and including plenty of stuff that the rest of us think should never be for sale.

Until somebody tries to buy their health and well-being, I suppose?

I guess it's absolutely no wonder that the modern Right is so outspokenly against anybody else's fighting for their own freedom, eh?

They don't even believe in the concept, not even for their own damn selves, except that they want the privilege of never having to deal with or see anything that they don't like. How that works when they keep playing these games with people like the Russians who'll immediately fuck them over, I don't know.

And it's funny how almost all of Europe, Turkey, Ukraine and even countries like Armenia, Azerbaijan or Georgia who are a lot more in the line of fire than we are don't want to be under the Russian jackboot.

But Republicans are just fine with it, so long as they think somebody else that they don't like will get hurt worse by it? 

I've always been confused by this shit. I mean, what good is somebody else's suffering if you're suffering too?

I guess to me the worst thing about this crap is that as much as they've used it to manipulate others, they can't see that they're just as vulnerable to it as their wannabe-mobocracy is.

And what happens when even their self-appointed "Masters" are just as delusional and stupid as they are??

Seriously the Wagner dude is talking shit about running for the presidency of a country he's failed to conquer and not a citizen of.

I mean, what the fuck?

Come on, dude. Really?

Seems to me like if you try and kill people it's a bit of a stretch to get them to vote for you. We can't all be Republicans.

The thing is, as I've been saying for years there's eventually a solid baseline of reality you can't push through anymore.

And these fucking people have simply decided, upon encountering it, that they're going to just back the truck up and hit it again. And then they have the balls to wonder why nothing works properly.

But they're sure willing to spill a lot of other people's blood to try and force the issue, aren't they?

And when it fails, then they just move the goalposts and say well they got their blood-sport entertainment out of it.

That's pretty much all this Trailer Park Rome shit even is.

If you want a better nation, you have to be a better citizen. If you want a better world, you have to try and be a better person.
